Been using one with the old style skinny rails all year long with no issues. Great flex in the shell and super comfy.
I'd say crash durability is always going to suffer a bit on a super light full carbon saddle compared to a heavy regular one, so it's down to priorities. But this is weight weenies so you know what the answer's gonna be.

Thanks @Gullholm. The fact that the 7mm round rails have held up for you gives me plenty of confidence. I also have the round rail version of the list on my road bike and even though I'm a lightweight at 62kg its still in the back of my mind whenever I hit a pothole!

Anyway 3 rides in and no complaints. Have hit some fairly gnarly (for XC) single track with no issues. Its such a great saddle Im glad I decided to go with it. And of course the weight is always a major motivator, 92g for a padded saddle with oval rails is pretty great IMO. My 2019 Scalpel is down to about 10.2kg now (inc pedals), time to find another 200g! 8)

Is there a thread? I think you should make a thread ;) MTBs are in minority here.

I have been meaning to! Will put something up soon. It's nothing crazy light like yours or @Gullholm but I have a few changes in mind to sneak it under the 10kg mark.

Does anyone know the length of a Berk Dila saddle? I know width is 60mm at the nose and 160mm at the widest part but couldn't find any info on lenght...or I missed it completely.

Berk Dila padded is 270mm.
In the low down position and up to speed it is a nice comfortable saddle for many hours but I keep feeling my sit bones and my inner leg when I go slow.
Ordered the Lupina padded 150mm and see if it is better and transfer the Dila to my commuter bike witch has a aerobar where I sit deep frequently and having trouble with the Prologo TT saddle.
Anyone have the Dila and the Lupina?

I have both... the DIla is on my gravel bike and the lupina will move to my aero bike. The dila is always more uncomforable at first then I get used to it and it's fine. The lupina is better from the start and stays that way.

for TT...dash tt.9 saddle or nothing

Sad day for my favourite saddle.
Was no surprised after my crash last year, Same side.

Break point is about 2 cm from the clamp area.

Still got me home.. Not fully broken through.
Impressed that last 10% of the fibres held out over 100kms of Sydney roads.

Now to decide if I want another lupina or something else.

Can be repaired DIY. There was a thread sometime back showing the same type of damage being repaired. At least worth a thought.

Thanks for the fast reply mate..

Being in Australia, it's not worth the bother to send it all the way around the world.

Thanks for the confirmation. Happy to keep using it. Was thinking of putting some duct tape across that wing but will probably damage my bibs in the long run.

It seems that round rail models are rather sensitive. Something similar happened to a friend a few days ago for no obvious reason.
