I got my Berk Lupina through the US Distributor Elite Velo Solutions https://www.elitevelosolutions.com/?fbc ... S-adjguP2Q
I ended up with the Berk Lupina Short in a 144 and I have 110mm sit bones. So far so good, very comfortable and I cut over 100 grams of weight off my S-Works saddle.

Hi, thank you for your trust, much appreciated, I wish you a lot of nice rides with it!
Thanks!
On Lupina Short it is around 57mm, onthe Monocoque it is 65mm.
On standard Lupina/Dila it is 75mm.
It depends a bit from the clamp, as long as the saddle rails are straigt it can be clamped there, hope this helps
I use a 3d printed one.AM7Jeremy wrote:Can anyone recommend a Garmin Varia mount for the Berk Lupina saddle?

Hi,
yes the short Lupina is the same, only with shorter nose. But I have to mention that it is slightly stiffer compared to standard Lupina (shorter saddle rails have a bit less flex) but the shape is the same

I love the look of this monocoque saddle!
Berk - Is it similar flex to the Lupina long? I have the Lupina short too, and I notice it is a stiffer saddle (not quuuuuuite so comfortable for me)
Will you offer the monocoque in a wider version like the Lupina? I haven't ridden the thinner Lupina, maybe I should give it a go.

Hi all,
I’m in need of some buying advice. I’m looking to purchase a second Berk saddle. I currently own a Lupina but I’m curious about the other saddles available.
Anyone with comparisons of the Lupina and Ploh and Dila?

I just ordered a Berk Lupina short 132mm from Creative Cycles Workshop in Australia to replace my S-WORKS Power saddle. Nothing wrong with the Power saddle. I actually really like it (and it's already a lot lighter than the standard alloy rail Power saddle it replaced), but the Berk is even lighter, looks amazing and I've read great reviews so looking forward to trying it out!

My Berk Lupina Short 132mm came in the mail today. Great packaging, quality and so light in the hands.
Came in under the advertised weight of 95g.
The Monocoque is oddly comfortable. So different to the million saddles I've tried in the past.Jimmyrn85 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 7:25 pmI love the look of this monocoque saddle!

It essentially acts as a spring, with a lot of compliance to the rear, stiffening up to the nose, as you'd expect.
Mine is the leather covered model (not for comfort, but grips the bibs better IMO), and I have been super impressed with it.
Time will tell on its durability, but as far as design and aesthetics goes, it's hard to beat.

Hi Jure, as someone who has ordered 5 Lupina through the years via Eric at Elite. 2 that have broken and that you have replaced, and the last of the 3 that have eventually all broke through the years (I only have the 2 ones that you replaced left, on two of my bikes until they also break), I have never understood why you never decided to improve the design so that the well known problem of the glue failing at the rail/shell junction stops?
All of my saddles broke the same way (all riding road, the two that survived are on my MTB and Gravel bikes): Riding either in a pack with limited visibility or just surprised by a bump/pothole in the road, and the combination of a stiff bike and 80psi tires aren't absorbing enough of the sharp shock, and the glue cracks. Generally the crack comes from one of the two rear junction points, though one time I had the front junction point fail.
I have loved your saddles for years, both the ultimate comfort for me, and the most aesthetically pleasing saddle I've owned, but sadly won't be riding them anymore after the last one breaks. I have been replacing them with other carbon saddles (Fizik, selle italia, Wove, coco...) and have never broken another brand...
Would love to have a comment from you on that design choice.
For those curious, I only weight 67kg
