Just got my new lupina unpadded matt.. 77g
But looks like the rails rock in the oval rail fitting for my SWorks seatclamp.
Any ideas how to fix this? Is it a production issue?
Looking at my caliper.. Not quite 7x9 would be the reason.

as mentioned previously - anyone advise as to subtle differences between power and the dila - from what I gather the dila is shorter nose?

I'm also interested in this answer. Saddle would continuously slip each ride by a little bit. I tried carbon paste + torque to around 6 Nm to no avail. It just prolongs the time before it slips so much and I have to re-adjust after 2-3 rides. Ended up going back to the Romin Evo.sychen wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 8:00 amJust got my new lupina unpadded matt.. 77g

Before using it on my Tarmac, I had it on my Allez which has no issues with top to bottom tightening clamp FSA K Force SB25.
Sounds about right... I asked for the lowest and under up being around 3.0zefs wrote:Lupina padded 7mm rails has ~3.4cm stack height (atleast on my version)

I broke a rail in a crash and Berk was awesome about getting me a replacement at a very good price. I decided to see if I could transplant the rails off an old saddle and repair the leather with some shoe goo. Here is the result, I’m not totally certain it will last but I think it’s worth a try! Has anyone else ever tried this?

The current saddle I am riding is a combo of Selle SLR rails and Kit Karbonio shell. It's been good for years, then I broke the front part of the rails, and once again fixed it with a two-component glue and it is still ok.

Somewhere I heard a rumour that a narrower version of the Dila is coming out. Is this true? I ride an SMP Composite which is 129 mm and have stuck to saddles round 143, so 160 mm sounds like it will simply be too ride for me.
OTH, if I went for the Lupina, I'd be worried that it would be too flat and not provide enough sit-bone support for an aggressive position... thoughts? I used to ride the old Romin Evo Pro 143

Hi Berk,
I though I would try commenting on this thread before starting another if it goes missed!
I recently ordered a Lupina oval railed saddle which I have tried to assembe in the side mounted Ritchey one-bolt clamp system.
As others have previously stated the rails actually measure 7mm x 8.4mm and therefore the saddle rock in the Selle style clamp for the Ritchey one-bolt clamp.
Firstly, have others tried to mount a Berk saddle in the Ritchey one-bolt clamp or is this not recommended?
Secondly, are the rails out-of-tolerance at 8.4mm compared to 9mm?
Thirdly, if the saddle should not be used in the Ritchey one-bolt clamp, my other bike with a traditional seatpost clamp is a time trial bike.. Has anyone tried to TT on a Berk Lupina saddle??
Thank you in advance.

I have used a lupina w 7x9 in a ritchey 7x9 one nolt clamp without issues. Didn't meaure the actual rail size though.

Thanks for the reply Nifty.NiFTY wrote:I have used a lupina w 7x9 in a ritchey 7x9 one nolt clamp without issues. Didn't meaure the actual rail size though.
And just to confirm, you didn’t observe much/any lateral displacement of the
saddle rails when you were clamping?
This suggests the under-sized rails on mime might be the issue.

I use the saddle on all my bikes including TT and find it very comfortable.
My TT bike has a Ritchey one-bolt clamp and no issues with mounting.
