I appreciate the constructive and positive feedback! While I'm new with Berk and do not have an on-line store, coupled with the ever changing euro, e-mail for current pricing works best. My goal here is to provide excellent customer service along with availability for those interested in purchasing here in the states.Noctiluxx wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 9:36 pmYou're absolutely right. Is anyone able to confirm that the Oval raisl will fit on a normal saddle clamp or is it for specific bikes only? I know that probably seems like a silly question to ask but I really fancy giving one of these a go for my new bike build espeicially with a custom bit of paint but i'm 90+ kg so would need a oval rail model.Johnny Rad wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 7:04 pmBerk's site indicates a higher allowable rider weight with oval rails (85kg vs 100kg).
Not sure of any other pro's / con's.

It depends on type of clamping system of your seat post.chunky666 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 02, 2018 3:20 pm

If seatpost "holds" the saddle rails on the bottom and on top of it, oval rails should work.
If seatpost "holds" the saddle rails also from side of it, oval rails will not fit. However, manufacturers often offer replacement parts for their seat posts to allow use of oval rails. Example: Specialized vange or tarmac seat post holds the rails partly from side. There is alternative part available to use this seat post with oval rails.
What is your seatpost type ?
Its a Colango Concept which has a top/bottom clamp. So it looks like this will work.marek wrote: ↑Sat Jun 02, 2018 4:10 pm

Cool. Now just to decide if I go for Italian flag insert or see if Berk can match the Art Decor blue paintscheme somehow!
Many thanks
HI to all! Sorry for my silence, extremely busy and didn't managed to check the forum as often as I would like.
We really started to work with trusted dealers, and Eric from Elite Velo is the one for US, so for any questions and service for US he's the right one. As soon as we manage to finish our new website we will have more details there - our aim is to get our saddles in different shops and also offer test saddles with the most trusted dealers. Otherwise if there will be any questions or anything please just drop us or our dealers an email and we'll give our best to take care as soon as possible

Holy crap! Been a fair bit happening since I last saw this thread like six years ago...
Awesome work, Jure!
Awesome work, Jure!
For the past few years I've been riding a Fizik Arione 00. So same shape minus the channel. It was mostly comfortable for me but a couple times recently I've ended up with a little bit of post ride discomfort, so I wanted to try something with a cutout. I ended up buying the unpadded lupina in the 132mm size. I've only had it on the bike for a week, but that week did include a 200 mile ride. It's been great for me so far. Even after 11 and a half hours in the saddle, I had no pain. Shape fit well, cutout did what I had hoped it would, and there's enough flex in it that it felt like it moved well with me. After 200 miles in the saddle, my ass was the absolute least of my worries which is about as good as you can hope for.
