A few months in the making, but my '08 Pro Machine is now (almost) finished. Went out for it's inaugural test flight earlier today and first impressions are very good. Just need to make a few adjustments to the position but nothing major.

Spec is fairly straightforward...

BMC SLC01 Pro Machine Red/Black/White
Easton EC90 SLX Fork
Full SRAM Red (Compact)
3T Ergonova Team Bars/ARX Stem
3T Doric Team Seatpost
Easton EA90 SLX Wheelset
Schwalbe Ultremo R1 Tyres
Specialized Toupe Saddle
Speedplay Zero

I will be re-taping the bars and chopping the steerer tube once position is sorted.
Also plan to replace the chunky Easton QRs with some Tokens or similar (when I can get hold of some),
add a bottle cage or two and get a touch of red on the toupe!

Nice, but for me there`s too much white and red on bars, wheels, seatpost etc.

this is exactly how I'm going to build my next bike (which will hopefully be the same exact frameset).

Fine machine - i bet it climbs really well.

Good looking bike brother... Maybe put some more tape to cover up more of the red on the bars.

have you thought about some red ultremo's? might bring out some more look.

Thanks for the comments... I'm really happy with the colour scheme so will only be making a few small tweaks to the look. Haven't had it weighed yet but will post up once I know, although not expecting anything particularly eye-opening, maybe 6.8kg at a guess. Only one decent ride so far due to some stormy weather, but felt fantastic, and that was at the same time as getting used to the speedplays, which I've never used before (but am growing to love).

I got a couple more pics while round at a friends place...

Looks great mate, I just bought a new one of these (same year) off ebay in the black and white . Problem is Im stuck on an oil rig and it has turned up at home. I have ordered a Chorus 11 speed groupset. I was going to buy the same head stem , bars and seat post as you but I ended up getting deda zero kind of wish I had got the 3T stuff as it looks great on your bike.
