Have just finished building up my new road bike. After a lot of deliberation I went with a Lynskey Cooper titanium frame in an Industrial Mill finish. Close second was a Cervelo Soloist/S1. Wanted an anodized black one, but they didn't seem to come up for sale very often. The customer service from the guys at Lynskey was excellent and I purchased the frame directly from them. Took a couple of weeks to arrive in Australia and managed to avoid import duty & tax (not sure how though?). All other parts were sourced from all around the world. The wheels from Jenson USA, fork from ProBikeKit, headset from Wiggle, handlebars, groupset and stem from eBay, cassette, tyres, computer and bartape from Ribble, and seatpost from Chain Reaction Cycles.
Had the LBS install the headset, bottom bracket and crown race onto the fork and I completed the rest of the build (including cutting the fork). Did a lot of reading on the net to help me along as I have never built up a bike before.
All in all very happy with how it turned out. Have put about 300km on it so far including a 160km ride as part of the Tour Down Under. Very happy with the frame and the ride quality, a bit leap over my 12 year old Giant CFR that I have been riding for the past 3 years.

Fork: Ritchey WCS Carbon
Groupset: SRAM Rival (except for Ultegra 6700 11-25 cassette)
Wheelset: Easton EA90 Aero
Handlebars: FSA Wing Pro Compact
Stem: FSA OS-150 100mm
Seatpost: FSA SL-K Carbon Setback 350mm
Tyres: Michelin Pro Race3 in Ivory/Black
Saddle: Prologo NagQ
Computer: Cateye Micro Wireless
Approx weight is 7.3kg (using bathroom scales).
Agree with the cable on the rear derailleur though. My first go at cabling and I thought it looked a bit long. Wasn't sure on the grey colour, but it was all I could get in brake cable at short notice.
Next up is a longer stem and re-cutting of the fork. I have removed the spacers below the stem and now have 25mm of spacers above it.
its classy and fast looking between all the carbon frames you see this days
i would like to build a bike with the same frame but with da7900 and open pro wheels but lack the funding
it can wait as my shed is stocked with bikes already
a light bike does make you go faster unless you are slow
it is a sram system. it needs that big of a loop.

I think they look great with black wheelsets too. I also have a set of Ivory Pro3's on Shimano RS80's which look good. I've done about 14,000km so far on this bike, all on Pro Race 3's (ivory of course ) and highly recommend them. They do get cut up a little around town with the glass, but typically get 3,500 to 4,500km out of a set. Haven't tries the Pro4's yet.
