One more thought on crankset choice. 52/39 is a must have when having such a "classic" styled machine. Personally, I wouldn`t switch to CT.

I am thinking of spraying the rims to all black. Except the brake surface of course!

Do it. :thumbup: I've never been a fan of the large weave pattern, and obviously you neither.

I think I have seen a Canyon here with the same procedure done to rims... I think it looked great.

And with tan veloflex tubs..... mmmmmmm ;) :D
Do you also have to inflate them everyday???

Yes, every day but I think Veloflexes still hold air slightly better than my Vittoria CXII's...

Thanks, on page 4 is spraying the rims with black.

Will buy another Velofex criterium. Rear one lasted only for 200 km. But damn, they are expensive!
