Mike--i have no problems with the AX rims--they are fantastic!

the hubs well could be better in my opinion--i have the SX Extralite 135g rear and 49g front

case in point--there is a plastic adjuster on both hubs that always turns loose--so i put a dab of glue on them and still vibrated loose!!!

the rear hub makes a clunking sound now that is very distracting especially climbing out of the saddle (my Ventoux 's don't)
I took everything apart (very easy with the Extralite) and tried it again--twice more--same result.

both hubs no matter even if you adjust to the tightest max setting there is a little play that vibrates with the ride and as you pick up the bike and down again. My Ventoux's don't. I weigh in at 167 pounds today--so i don't think it is a weight thing?

So i may have Jason lace up another set of hubs to the AX rims and give it another try but haven't decided which--or perhaps just keep'em and do nothing.

Thanks Goldknight. I've always had issues with extralite products, so I have stayed away from them. I recommend Tune 180 gram hubs. I know they are not as light, but they are reliable and strong.

Simply wonderful!

To not be stirring the interest on the stem: that indeed is a one-off just built for GoldKnight. We do not offer any premium stems and the difference with this specific version is just (in simplified terms) the outer visible layer.

I hate to think, but it's got to be one of the lightest bikes on the planet...
...and I say that in awe.
