I would suggest:
handpolished 105 cranks,
Campagnolo QR,
standard brake housing,
heavier version of the SLR seat,
heavier version of the speedplay pedals.
But yes it's a stupid rule.

I would suggest some Time pedals. Have driven with Speedplay before, but the Time is just a little better!!! I loved the Speedplay though but the bearings was just not good enough! I think the whole systems weight is about the same but you just put some of the weight on your bike instead of under your shoe!
A computer will gain a little more weight!
Your say that your won't change the saddle... I have driven with SLR and it was great but have your ever tried and Aspide? It is just perfect!!! And sooo comportable. I have the FX version, same weight as SLR, but you can get it in a cheaper and heavier version!
And as Mads said: orginal skewers! I always have the original in my bike when going to a race The weight of my bike is just on the limit, but if DCU's weight is not exactly and my bike fall below the limit then I can just change the skewers!
I WILL NOT BUY 105 CRANKS!!!!
No, seriously. I must find ways to increase the weight without using a lot of money. I have already spend too much money on this bike, and can´t use any more.
I am already using normal housing except for the last pieces before the brakes.
Original screwers could be an idea.
I love my Speedplays and these has lasted for 3 seasons until now with the original bearings, and they are still going strong. The Time pedals are a good point, though. As I am using them on my winter bike and find them all right.
Regards

The easy, and cheapest, is putting led on the bike. Tape it under the seat or something like that.
Hell yeah!

Still it weighs 6,66 with training wheels on. I haven´t weighed it with the Bora´s, but it should be about 6,3kg´s without trying.
Now I just hope no one will weigh it on sunday for the first race of the season. If they do, a set of Bora´s will probably be on the "for sale" section, and a set of Cosmic Carbones will have to take it´s place....
Very nice bike
I have the Cosmic Carbone... you one a trade
See all my bike h e r e

Come on

Nothing, but it just seems stupid to be forced to buy some "lower" graded stuff, to get the weight right.
BTW. No one weighed any bikes at the race today. I am also sure I didn´t have the lightest bike in the peloton. Somebody raced a size XXS Specialized Tarmac SL with Zipp 303, Zipp cranks and lightweight stuff all over. that must have been around 6 kg´s.

Trust me, mate, there is nothing wrong with 105. I'm trying to ride it until it breaks and after over 20,000km, nothing has skipped a beat.

That must be a rider from Skive. I talked to him at Mallorca - nice bike by the way. I also didn't see any bike getting weighed...
