Hi guys

Hope this is the right place for this. This is my 2019 Trek Emonda Sl6. Been an awesome bike over the year but it's due for a rebuild.

I want to upgrade and go electric di2. What are my options for mounting the "A" junction box. I'd really love to have it hidden somewhere and not under the stem but not sure if that'd be possible. I've seen somewhere where you can get something for the handle bar ends?

I'm open to any ideas or suggestions

You can only put the junction in your handlebar if you can run the di2 cable through your handlebar, stem and like that inside your frame.

So no, that's not possible. I have the exact same bike with di2, I have the junction under my stem. Not with the rubber strap but with a (Aliexpress) k-edge mount. Doesn't bother me.

you can use the shimano handlebar junction box but you need to have a one piece bar stem which has exit holes for the electric wire underneath the bar near to the stem. then you will need to route the wire through the frame hole port back into the frame. it is certainly a cleaner look but wires will still be visible from handlebar to frame.
