Hi all, I just picked up this NOS Alchemy Skylla made in 2016. From what I can find online it's made out of KVF stainless steel. I'm trying to find out if it's MS2 or MS3 tubing and numbers, for example 410 stainless steel or what not. For comparison a Torelli Trentesimo 30th anniversary TIG-welded using Columbus Minimal XCR in a size 56 has a claimed weight of 1.7kg so this frame in size 58 appear to be comparable to it. And for someone who is uninitiated, what is the purpose of the oxidation around the welded joints? Appreciate your insights.

There's no 'purpose' to the discolouration of the tubes at the welded joints it's just a result of the heat added by the welding process. If you wanted to you could polish it out but judging by the finish to the rest of the frame this would seem to be a feature rather than a bug 😀.
Nice looking frame 👍

It's a humblebrag on the quality of the welding. The heat affected zone shows every tiny timing mistake.
