So I have finally ordered my first non custom road bike since 2014 and first non metal (Not counting the TT bike).
I had a Spoon Vars on order but that got canceled when their supply chain got effected last year and instead got my 4th Sturdy which I was actually very relieaved about as the Sturdy Fidah was a much better fit for what I wanted. However my Saffron got written off a few months ago and as a knee jerk reaction I ordered a Prova Intergrale to replace it. However when I actually thought about the bikes i have (Sturdy Sidhe (race), Sturdy Fidah (climbing/endurance), Sturdy Cilla Mk2 (gravel), Sturdy Keela (vintage steel), Burls road bike (these days turbo bike) I realised the prova wouldn't give me anything new and I already had peak custom Ti. I also prefer Ti to steel so didn't want to get another steel bike.
So I thought maybe it was about time I bought another world tour bike and I wanted to see what peak carbon and aero was like these days. I am alergic to spacers so needed a bike I could run slammed. I also wanted a bike that I could tell what it was from its silouet and didn't just like every other carbon aero bike. Finally I wanted something that handeled like it was reading my thoughts. This pretty much left me with the Dogma F. After riding a mates Dogma F from 2023 I knew it was the right bike so I have ordered the new 2024 version.
This will be a full build thread with weights and pics when everything lands. I have entrusted the build to my not local but wholly worth driving to LBS Ride 24/7 in Cirencester. I would highly recommend them to anyone! The fact that I drive 45 mins past many other bike shops should speak s to how highly I rate them. here is what it will consist of:

Out of curiosity, whereabouts do you live? I am also based in the UK and can't think of many places where I'd want 50-36 as my easiest gear. Then of course you will have had your reasons for choosing this setup.

I live in the middle of the North Wessex Downs near Marlborough and Newbury and we have climbs up to 17% around here. However my Sturdy race bike is 1x 50-10/33 and I can get up everything and have used it on 5-6 hour rides so this will be even easier. I started riding road bikes in 2010 where one of the first rides I did was a solo John O'Groats to Lands end which I did on 25mm tyres, panieers and a 53/39-11/25 so a 50-33 which is the equivalent to 38/25 is no problem and a 50-36 is 39/28 so even easier
however my climbing sturdy has 50/34-11/34 when I want to go to Europe or for endurace Ultras

Thank you - to each their own, I wouldn't mind having "tougher gearing" for Europe (longer climbs, shallower gradients) but could do with easier gearing for UK (shorter climbs, crazy gradients).

Up until now in Scotland. But I'll also specify that I'm probably much less fit than you are (I think I must be around 3.5w/kg FTP these days), so that would also explain a lot as to why I wouldn't run the same gearing..

Looking forward to seeing how this build settles. You always learn the best things from people stepping outside their typical preferences.
If you are waxing it might be interesting to try a YBN MK120 in rotation too.
Also looking forward to seeing more details on the ceramic speed preloader ring. I've run the EE many times and like it and just keep going for it as its lighter from what I could dig up but the ceramic speed does look a lot smoother and therefore nicer in my book.

Thanks OtterSpace. I might try a YBN on my dura ace bike but I only run sram chains on my sram bikes for shifting and durability. However it will be my first strip chip chain which will be interesting
