SRAM Red E1 is now installed.
I switched from 48/35T 170mm to 50/37T 165mm. (New Red was 5g lighter despite the bigger chainrings because of the lighter crankarms).
I switched to the 10-36T Cassette from 10-33T. The weight penalty is 25g.
The bike now weighs 6.015kg with pedals, computer mount, radar mount and bottle cages.
The bike would be sub 6kg with the 10-33T cassette.
It'll be sub 6kg with the Darimo Nexum Drag that I ordered today and will probably arrive in November.
My first ride will be tomorrow morning and then I'm doing an imperial century on Sunday so we'll see how it rides.

I basically never ride in the drops. On descents I ride in the aero hoods position which is faster than the drops and with these new levers I can actually brake in that position because the force required to brake is so low with the new levers I can brake with my fingers at the top of the lever near the pivot point.Nixster wrote:This is such a great build for a non S-works frame, great colour too.

It seems like I don't really need the 10-36T Cassette on most rides and the 10-33T should suffice. So I'll keep the 10-36T for very hilly days and have the 10-33T as my daily driver.

Might have missed this but was the darimo offset post not in stock? Seeing how you're setup it seems that one would've been a better fit?

A setback seatpost probably would've been a better choice. I got this saddle after I got the seatpost and my last saddle had longer rails, so the inline post wasn't an issue.gurk700 wrote:Might have missed this but was the darimo offset post not in stock? did they size up to what ENVE states or come in a little oversized like the 29's? i have been thinking about some 27's - my rims are a tad under 29 external and 21mm internal.

Enjoy reading your build process. Impressive sub 6kg for a non s-works frame!
Going from the older AXS shifters to newer, is the reach that much longer? Is it a big difference on body when riding longer distance ( Specifically wrist, neck and shoulders).
