I'm not doing a crazy light build. I still have a brand new dura-ace 9170 groupset from pandemic. Darimo bar/stem/seatpost, berk saddle, and zipp 303 firecrest disc tubular wheels.

Good morning.
Good weight.
I thought it would be lighter than specialized aetos, both in frame and fork.
Closely monitor the entire assembly of the bicycle.
Thank you for showing us the weights and components of your bike.
All the best.
It would likley be 50+g lighter if it didn't have the metallic flake paint and instead had a matte black like the aethos.
That's what I thought, should be lighter than my aethos if it was nude carbon.

Sorry about the cellphone photos. I was amazed how clean the inside of the frame.

Yonex booth displayed a bare unfinished frame @ 540g in cycle mode tokyo 2023 last weekend.
So my paint is 69g. 🤔

That unfinished frame is not pretty at all. The yonex paint distinguishes it from any generic Asian frame out there

Hello.
I do like to see and have carbon frames seen, whether they are of the same type of carbon or different.
What I don't like about lightweight frames is that the manufacturer usually gives the weight of the smallest frame, unpainted and without the necessary components to be able to use that frame and when you buy it the weight variation is different.
To the 540 gr exposure frame you add the necessary components to be used, any stops and the temples of the front and rear derailleurs and a thin layer of lacquer to leave the carbon visible and you add another 40 grams with little.
Then, within the same size, the weight also tends to vary, they do not usually have the same weight, sometimes they are lighter and others are heavier.
But there are few manufacturers that will tell you the actual weight of the finished frame.
I still like the weight and color of your frame and I wouldn't strip the paint off.
I will continue to see how your bike evolves.
All the best.

That looks so clean and precise inside that I'd wager the variance between frames is very small indeed.

Small batch, made in japan. That means something.
