Hello Donald,
May I ask what set up you have with regards to your down tube shifters? Are they friction or indexed?
I'm considering installing some down tube friction shifters on my 12spd Campagnolo arrangement.

Hello Peanutbuttercups, The left shifter is a very old Modolo, the entire lever is made out of some kind of composit nylon. The right shifter is a Shimano dura ace with index shifting but I cut the shaft way down and made a new shaft out of carbon. Both shifters are mounted with schmolke carbon bolts. I could have used a right Modolo shifter for a little lighter weight but I like index shifting. Good luck with your project.

Thank you for the reply Donald,
It's nice to get an explanation of how you create on your bike.
Thanks again.
