I received a new saddle.
Strange design, from the late 2000's.
Weight is 59g.
It's more comfy than the time saddle, even probably not yet the definitive saddle for my ride.
For now this is the weight list of what is on the bike:
frame fork headset: 1130g
wheels with tubes and locks: 1560g
cockpit: 230g, lets add 30g for heavy expander
seat and post: 140g
cassette: 110g

Good score on the Becker saddle. Hard to come by
New piece in the mailbox, 430g crankset-chainring.
frame fork headset: 1130g
wheels with tubes and locks: 1560g
cockpit: 230g, lets add 30g for heavy expander
seat and post: 140g
cassette: 110g
Rear derailleur 145g
Crankset: 430g
Total: 3745g
Now, the levers (260g), and brakes to find(200g?!), also a 12s cassette(130g), and sram flat top chain(250g), and it will start to be ok, planning to weight 4435g without dremelling and cables, also guidoline and saddle foam and lining to add, I ill do it by hand, using cork leather.
What brake-shifter housing ould be the best choice, between weigh, functionnality and durability?
Are the KCNC titanium cables worth the cost?

I have new unused tube plastic stuff housing that I saved for a light project which I won't get around to. It is the lightest ever made and will save a lot over traditional and even Nikon housing. I will pm you. I also use kcnc to cables for brake and shifters. It is much better to use than powercordz but you need to be careful with the ti cables as they will fray more easily than stainless steel cables.
thanks for your reply.
The bike is assembled, I sold the wheels and foud new wheels, have ot negociate them.
The gear is not perfect, only 9 working speed for now.
I put low cost cable and housing for now, and bought cheap wheels (3 kilos for the pair!)

Hello,
That project has been sold, many different buyers, I sold the groupset, and wheels to a friend here in same village, he used them on a willier zerosix.
So now it's time for a new project, I am on my way for a vial evo, which is already 5,6 kg.
For those who may know it, my cassette was a chinese made, 11-25, made from titanium, if I remember it's split in 3 parts, 5 largest with aluminum star, aluminum spacer, 5 medium made from a solid piece of titanium and smaller is made from steel , total weight about 110g with the screw cap, but I don't remember who is the maker, I would like to remember it, or find a chinese manufacturer as I discovered about the 3T cassette, and I would like to work on a similar project, 9-28 or even 9-25, but made from titanium, for weight efficiency, it should be possible to create a 100g 11s cassette, starting with a 9 teeth cogwheel.
For that new project I will probably do a 1x11 again, using the 3T cassette, but not the 3T torno crankset, first because it's sold, second because it's heavy, because of chainring design, I will try to start from a clavicula, then clavicula SE, or other very light crankset, if you have any suggestion!
I would like to find a 36t compact chainring.

I didn't get, did you make it sub 5kg for 4k€?
If you want solid bike that you would ride often, that is confy and that parts last few thousand kilometers, I would say you must get got several parts dirt cheap or for free
I bought whole bike for 1k€ (secondhand, of course) with 1,2 kg frame/fork. Glossy white - if I wanted to sand it, I can go down at least 100g, so pretty same as yours, and got rest of many parts to sell, so...
My sub 6kg bike cost me approx. 3k€. For another 1k€ I couldn't shed 1kg, not even if I ride tubulars, which I don't.
I don't really understand are you saying building my project for such price is not possible, because too cheap, or the opposite?
6kg bike is very easy to build, I think it can be built for less than 2000, actually a friend of mine is selling one for 850€, sub 5 is a different story, and sub 4 seems very difficult and costly.

Ok, I look forward to see it.
I hope you included the price of the bike itself, which you start with, in those 2,000.
