I decide to try Specialized Brain technology for XC race bike and this is a begining of new bike build.
Actually not a WW project but i think it will be pretty light.

is that the stock finish on the specialized frame? pretty cool if it is, saves sanding all the paint off :)

I hope it will be below 8.7kilo with pedals.

Awesome finish. Black painted frames always make me think the manufacturer is trying to hide dodgy layups and voids, why not show off the hard work. Should be light

Is the GX AXS rear derailleur weight without the battery/battery cover? It's weighted and listed as 443g in R2.

@Bumbabambuee, this is GX AXS with battery, the weight is the almost same as XX1 cause i tune it with Garbaruk cage )
GX and XX1 body is a same, only cage and pulley are different.

Great, ordered GX AXS derailleur and the garbaruk cage myself as well. Are you using the standard pulleys anyway or the garbaruk 12/16?

I use standard pulley, they a little heavier but who cares )
