Beginning a new build! FIrst gravel build for me. Wow, the frame is... sturdy.
Weights for all the small bits:
Using an S-Works SL stem, which ships with an expander plug that is a little lighter than the Cane creek one that came with the Stigmata frame:
Cane creek:
S-Works:
Talking of replacing parts, these thru axles have to go....
I honsetly could not attach these to the bike in good conscience, so sourcing replacements asap.

Installing the Campag Ekar groupset. The frame uses full internal routing for mechanical and Campag only provide short housings, so making use of some nice yellow jagwire housing I had in the box.
Coming together:
Wheels are Farsports 36mm gravel rims on DT 240 hubs. Weight for these can be found on this other thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=167924&p=1720555#p1720555
Tyres are Specialized Pathfiner 42mm.

Diet plan:
Okay 360g to lose. There's some easy early wins.
1. I have a roval terra handlebar on backorder (out of stock most places), which is 200g. Currently for the build I used an old alu FSA handlebar I had lying around 306g so -106g: 254g
2. I have a pair of tune mtb bottlecages on order at 14g each replacing the tacx ones (30g each) so -32g: 222g
3. The Pathfinder tyres are nice but so heavy at 540g each (!). If I went to Panaracer gravel king SKs (38mm) that would be 453 each. So -174g: 48g
Any ideas for that last 50g? I could cut the seatpost (there's a fair bit in there) go down to one spacer on the fork (stack is really high anyway). I have 75ml of sealant in each tyre - maybe I can get away with less (60ml)?

Right. Curious to know if anyone has weighed this part. Looking at it I would guess it could be as much as 100-200g - very chunky. I do ride down some pretty steep, rocky single-track, but I rarely (never?) hear chain slap. Lighter protection might be fine.

Well - I am still waiting for my carbon handlebars... But in the meantime I managed to get sub 8kg without them:
The changes were:
1. Tires Pathfinder pro 42 -> Gravelking SK 38
2. Bottlecages tacx -> tune mtb
3. Rotors Ekar -> Galfer
When my handlebar finally shows up that should save me another 100g for ~7.83kg. This seems like a good weight for a Stigmata based on other examples I have seen. But more tuning is certainly possible. E.g. Pedals as suggestes above. Maybe 7.7 is possible.
