I'm finished my Cannondale CAAD12. Under 6.400g for less than 1500 USD. Not all the parts arrived, because I'm from Ukraine, some troubles with posting.
But in general, the bike is already fully assembled. I didn't weigh all the parts thoroughly, so there may be some errors, I will try to correct them later,
but the weight of the whole bike is 6.380 g with 11-25 cassette and w/o bottle cages

6.380g - 1445 USD

Love the looks of this build! I'm biased but I love seeing lightweight metal bikes! I'd definitely say the DA group would look great on this frame and there's definitely spots to make up the weight! Depending how light you wanna go, the big losses are definitely gonna be in the shifters, brakes and the crankset. That being said you'll definitely find better braking with the DA brakes.

If you go the other route I'm running the older 130 BCD SLK cranks with Praxis Rings and they weigh in at 519g, these are definitely a budget option as they can be had around $100. I needed BB386 as I've got a threaded BB but they're more common in BB30. The sram RED Crankset also is similarily light I believe but often harder to find for little $.

For other easy weight savings I've found some cheap places to save throughout my own CAAD Build:

Kalloy Uno Stealth 100mm: 106g with Steel Bolts, could be ~91g with J&L hollow ti, thats 45g for as many dollars
I've had a 25.4mm Ali Seatpost fail however my Elita One post has been perfectly reliable so keep an eye on yours if its not one of the more reputable sellers
I've also found my Elita One saddle to work great, super comfortable and weighs 120g (with padding! $25)

The last easy saving I found was by using aluminum core housing (It's winter so I don't have ride experience with it yet). The housing looks just like standard housing only it weighs about half as much. My full housing and cable set went from ~150g to ~99g by making this switch and keeping the regular steel cables.

From the looks of it you could probably build it up at around 6.6kg with the right tubes and pedals using the DA R9000!

If you can find a supersix hi mod fork, they are much lighter than the CAAD fork. Both 2012 or 2017 versions should work although the '17 is slightly lighter and has integrated race. I have one that's 296g, uncut. I would double check fork geo. My assumption is they are the same but don't take my word for it. They pop up on ebay occasionally for a reasonable price.
Also, Sram Red BB30 (with integrated 5 arm spider) as mentioned for budget weight savings. They can be had for reasonable price on ebay if you're patient. Make sure you get the one that has the preload adjuster. Older versions may not fit bb30A.

I use a Rotor 3D+ (30 mm axle) crankset older version (bought here from RyanH :) ), it's lighter than my Older Hollowgram SL was, wich is VERY light (can't remember exactly weight). It fits well with any 4 bolts or 5 bolts spiders. You can get some very cheap ones right now. I never had any creaking problems with my BB30 frame, with the preload adjustment it's easy to adjust perfectly with spacer. And light  !!

Find some new cheap FSA K-Force Light WE 34-50T 172.5 - 597g! But, i need BB386 to BB30a adaptor, and there is problem, because FSA said it's 50g here https://shop.fullspeedahead.com/en/bb-a ... b30a-frame But in manual and on other sites it's around 15g-18g https://www.bike24.com/p2254292.html 50g its heavy. Has anyone used bb386 cranks, is it worth putting them in bb30a and what is the weight of the adapters?

FSA's website lists 50g as the weight for many small items. The bike24 link should be close to the real weight. I use BB386 but only because I have a threaded BB so no spacers are used. I know the older FSA cranks were lighter in the BB386 version by about 10g but I kinda doubt that's still the case.

Got my wheels from ebay, weight without rim tape in the photo, not the lightest, but very beautiful and look good on my CAAD12. The freehub body is steel, you can of course replace it with aluminum and throw off a little more weight, but there are problems with the seller, as the wheels were promised in good condition.
All the bearings in the rear hub are rusty, wheels were packed in paper, without a box, one spoke was bent during transportation because of this, in general, I will now demand compensation from him and change all the bearings,
not critical, but waste of money and time

Waiting for delivery tomorrow of the crankset, I decided to still put a group of sram red, so I took the early ones Sram Red 22 170mm 53\39 BB30 weight should be around 545g, I hope it will fit on bb30a without preload washer

Got the crankset Sram Red 22 170mm 53\39 bb30, installed perfectly in bb30a - 544g
Сut off the seatpost, cut off the fork

Sram Red22 definitely looks good on this frame

About the wheels, I will replace the bearings very soon, but I can't straighten the wheel from the impact during transportation, in a small town there is no tool for such internal nipples, I need to order and wait
