That's such a clean look, and I bet the paintjob looks stunning in person.

@Ryan I suppose your concerns on whether it would descend like the Crux are now a thing of the past - will eagerly wait for a full ride report later on.

Very nice build as usual, Ryan. Are you planning to do a full ride report, once the Farsports arrive? Here's hoping :)

Gotta wait for a DM hanger to really get an idea of how the bike rides. :smartass:

I'm all for saving grams but the female side not being epoxied into the frame is beyond annoying to me:

Ayy frame twinsies! I built my 61 up back in October and forgot this horror. This was the single longest step for me. I backed the screw out too far to feed the di2 wire and it took me ages (even with the park tool wiring kit) to get this thing back in place.

How's the shifting w/ the SRAM cassette? I did something similar but for 11 speed. I'm running Ultegra 8070 but threw a SRAM Red 11/30 11 speed on it to save some grams. Shifts OK (lags going down the cassette sometimes, I had to pick between clean up or clean down, couldn't get both), but it's much noisier than the Dura-Ace 11/28 I was using on a previous build.

I'd say that my experience with the XDR cassette matches yours. There are a couple cogs that are slow to shift down to and shifting as a whole isn't as crisp as the Edco cassette (I didn't use the 9200 so I don't know how it shifted). With that being said, it's not worse than eTap so at least there's that .

What center locks are you using on the rotors?

So, Farsports are probably going to be moved out of the rotation, you can read why here:

viewtopic.php?f=113&t=168025&start=15#p1729195

I ordered a pair of Mcfk 35 (21 internal) laced to DT 180 from Mcfk direct, so hopefully those will be here in a month.

Also, I was able to squeeze 35mm Panaracer into the frame but I got very slight rub on the NDS chainstay:

This is what it looked like with fatties on:
