I just finished this build. I chose a CAAD9 as it was the last one made in USA. First I cut off and smoothed the shift cable mounts. We blasted the frame and sanded everything smooth. The new color is Track inspired.

Looks great. Maybe get a silver seatpost to match the stem?

This is great! Saw a similar paint job on Instagram and loved the idea.

Agree with comment to match stem and seat post

Also, do you have the weight as pictured?

I'm trying to get my hands on the corresponding Ritchey Classic setback post. The 27.2 is out of stock everywhere.

I'm also looking for the Ritchey Classic bottle cages. Those seem to be out everywhere too.

The idea for the bike was certainly not my own. I've seen a few of these Cannondale Track inspired builds and loved them. So here's mine.

Weight to come but it's no lightweight I'm sure. I'll probably go to gp5000 tubeless in 25mm. 28 on there now with tubes.

Water bottle cages; what about King cages? They offer ones in Ti and also MIUSA.

Beautiful build! I’ve only seen the blue C’dale track inspired paint jobs on road frames. Less popular is the green color.

Beautiful bike! I had a CAAD9 a few years ago and it was a joy to ride. Very classy build and a silver seatpost will set it off nicely. Congrats!
