You know Ratio Technology makes an Ekar Ring?

BTW I'm pretty sure Superstar makes the BOR rings, I have both here and they're identical.

Yeah but as far as I'm aware, they're only making 5 bolt and SRM Origin is 4 bolt. Other options are to get a SRAM SRM 110BCD spider and pair it with a 3 bolt crank like the eeWings or Sigeyi paired to Easton arms with the Ratio rings or just run the Ekar cranks with power meter pedals but that's not very WW.

I couldn't find a single speed 40T chainring (non narrow wide) but I think that may work.

Regarding rotors, they'll be replaced with lighter ones later but I wanted to get a feel for how the group set is intended to work first before I started replacing things.

Overall, I'm impressed by the weight weenie pieces that come with the frame. The through axles seem to be well thought out by adding brass bushings to prevent seizing and are a respectable weight. They included 6 alloy bottle cage bolts and the headset is fairly light.

I've had a lot of frames and I think considering this is their 2nd tier model, Specialized paid a lot of attention to the details .

they skeletonized that expander plug. interesting.

52cm? cant tell. either way, that's really good. easily 150g lighter than old frame even with BSA and conventional post clamp. fork is maybe ~30-40g lighter length-for-length than old fork? still not worth replacing existing crux as a CX bike, but still compelling.

the S-works premium is clearly margin-heavy. very deep into the value-based pricing realm.
