Hi All,

Been following various threads on the forum for a while so thought I'd add my latest addition a 2021 Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1 Medium and most importantly rim brake

A good delivery to get on a Friday afternoon!

Out of the box and ready to be assembled

Image

Starting to look more like a bike!

Image

Came with a rather nice out front mount but it is quite chunky so this might be replaced soon!

Handlebars were replaced with some Pro Vibe Superlight Aero bars, around 200g for the 40cm bars

Image

Old bars on the scales

Hand some parts lying around from previous bikes so these have been swapped on

First off Berk Lupina saddle, the red has been covered with some electrical tape for now :unbelievable:

Next was some Lifeline Skewers, surprised how heavy the standard QR's were!

Got a Dura Ace Cassette added as well so down to a 11/28 vs the 11/30 it came with

Image

Fully built up and ready to go, with tubeless sealant in and pedals it tipped the scales at 7.1kg which I am very happy with

Image

First ride out over to wales and definitely enjoying climbing on this bike, just need to legs to match it now

Got a Sigeyi derailleur hanger as well which was a few days late but looks much better and saves a few extra grams!

Going to be sat on the turbo trainer for the winter season won't be getting much done in it but long term plans are to get it under 6.5kg, think this would be a good target the tyres are very heavy so hopefully that'll be most of the weight savings!

How do you find those skewers? Also why did you cover the Berk bridge?

Not had any issues with them, used them since 2018 and they have been great

Only as the bridge was painted to match my Cervelo S3 which was red and wanted to keep this blacked out
