I got into this bike completely by accident. I ordered Yoeleo C58 disc brake wheels by mistake thinking that I had ordered the rim brake version. Rookie mistake. So I salvaged it by buying a cross frame and have since done a few cross races (and can also ride gravel with it).
I'm not sure I'd buy a ICAN frame again. It's pretty heavy and rides pretty harsh (especially compared to my Fuji Transonic and Trek Emonda, which both have integrated handlebars).
I went with Spyre mechanical disc brakes because I didn't want to faff with all the hydraulic fluid and also order a bunch of new tools. After taking this picture I have since adjusted the position of the shifters on the handlebars. Initially they were way too low.
