Long time lurker on here, finally starting a build of my own. A 52cm non-HM SSE 2018.

Always liked the clean & simple look of the rim brake evo, and have taken inspiration from many classy builds on here.

The aim is sub 7kg, however, anything around that will be less than my current Dolan (UK brand) build which is running around 7.4kg with pedals.

1.85kg With the following installed:
Cannondale Save seatpost
Token ninja BB30a - 24mm Shimano BB - This came with the frameset and will probably be replaced once I have decided whether to run my Ultegra chainset or one of Cannondales with the spider ring (looks the best I think)
100mm Pro Vibe stem + FSA Headset

Initial plan for the build:
Ultegra di2 with non-drive side 4iiii PM from my current bike. Maybe Sram RED in the future as I think it would suit this bike.
Fizik Antares R3
Carbon bars - undecided on this, thinking Easton E100. Suggestions Welcome!
Shimano Ultegra R8000 carbon pedals

Thanks for looking, any hints & tips appreciated

Picked up these 3T Superergo LTD carbon handlebars for the build.

Hoping wiring di2 cables through them won't be too much of an issue.

Weight 180g with cable guides to be removed.

I really like this colour scheme and how it looks so far. I have also built Standard-mod gen 2 Evo in size 52 and it ends up 6,66 Kg with pedals and cages (it is back on GP5000 Tires so no more yellow mess)

Clean looking build! Nice weight for non HM too! I think I'll be struggling for sub 7kg with ultegra di2. SiSl2 on the wishlist :D

I have a set of these bars and its a bit snug running brake hoses or cables through but the wiring should be pretty easy. Once I had a set of cables or hoses through there wasnt much room for anything else though. The exit holes need to be a bit bigger IMHO.

Was a bit of a pain and like you said its a bit too snug if anything, but managed to get both di2 and brake cables through, took longer than it should of though!

Now have the issue that handlebar movement restricted slightly by the rear brake cable, it pulls the bars left when hanging freely  I thought the outer I used is long enough but perhaps not.

It doesnn't pull the bars left it puahes, recoil in the brake housing as the angle is so acute. Recoiless segmented housing will fix that like jagwire elite link . Had the same issue with my evo

Bit of an update with this..

For now I have used the more flexible end of a jagwire cable that is usually inserted into the shifter. No more handlebar restriction. Still need to shrink wrap it with the di2 cable to tidy things up and get rid of the silver colour.

Excuse the bar tape/hood position - not my greatest skill :? Will re do it with some new tape as I'm not not keen on this fizik tape.

A couple of progress photos. Almost there with this now, just a few final things to get sorted & adjusted.

Bike is weighing 6450g minus chain, cassette, last part of rear outer cable & bottle cages. So looks like final weight will be around 7kg.

Update on this.

Build pretty much complete, just need to adjust a few things, hoods, rear derailleur and index gears.

Weighs in at 6.9kg minus bottle cages and wahoo mount. Pretty pleased with how it's turned out :D think it would look better with cannondales spidering and sisl2, something to think about I think.

Got to love those classic Cannondale shapes.

Btw, something about your rear derailleur looks off?

it's just mounted wrong, that little extra link needs to be horizontal.
