Cervelo RCA 2013

Overall weight: 5.2kg as shown, all in, including pedals. Got the frameset and parts over the pandemic, during which time we had a newborn baby so I wasn't meticulous with getting every single item weighed, so just listing what I have for now ... if it's not listed, I didn't weigh it ;)

Was slightly disappointed with the weight of the fork @ 297g. Could go lighter with the pedals but I use MTB SPDs across my bikes for convenience. And a race cassette.

(Sorry for the crank angle in the photos – that's what was keeping the bike upright!)

Frame - Cervelo RCA (w17g seat collar) - 696g
Fork - Cervelo RCA - 297g
Stem - Extralite Hyperstem Stealth - 77g
Handlebar - Lightweight - 173g
Brakes - Cane Creek eeBrakes - 171g
Shifters - SRAM Red eTap 11 speed - 266g
Crankset - THM Clavicula SE 172.5mm - 317g
Chainrings - Praxis Works 53/39 - 159g
Bottom Bracket - THM BB30 - 90g
Chain - KMC x11sl - 232g
Cassette - Ultegra 11-28 - 252g
Rear Derailleur - SRAM Red eTap - 238g
Front Derailleur - SRAM Red eTap - 164g
Seatpost - Schmolke TLO UD 350mm 27.2mm - 126g
Saddle - AX Lightness Leaf - 91g
Pedals - Xpedo Mountain Force Ti/Ti SPD - 215g
Wheelset - Enve 2.2 SES rims, Extralight rear, M5 front - 830g
(Sorry, didn't weigh Vittoria Corsa Evo CX tubular tyres cos I intend to change them when worn. Not the lightest)

Amazing how well the RCA has aged. Yours looks fabulous! A couple of suggestions: Install a chain catcher if you haven't already done so. Dropped chains are inevitable with etap, and it would be a pity to damage the frame. ...and put road pedals on it; the frame and cranks deserve them!

i am sure this bike rides great, but the xpedo pedals, red cage, chunk sram derailleur, and taillight really downgrades the look of this bike.

That’s pretty light all in. A lighter cassette may bring it closer to sub-5kg

That's a cool build and a really light frame! What's the size?
