Wow that looks nice. Very classy. I never liked the look of the dropped seat stays found on all the recent bikes. Viva rim brakes!!!

Really curious how they hold… that’s an interesting option I could consider, as you mention, to “change the bike look”!gurk700 wrote:Frame is already clear coated. Stickers are on top of the clearcoat.
Downside, they can get damaged in time.
Upside, I just ordered 10 of them and I can also change the look of my bike down the line
They seem to be very high quality. They are advertised as outside / inside and durable to wet / cleaning etc. Time will tell.

Supersix evo2HM : 5.71Kg
Over the years, I've really grown to dislike the shape of the Cannondale frames (Even though I've had 3 and loved them at the time). These on the other hand are quite exquisit! Both of them are very stunning and impressive builds. Well done!
Nothing I can disagree with in this comment
Updated original post.
Grabbed a LW Gipfelsturm set today!
While I'm still not sub 5kg yet, I'm tempted to cancel my Caden Wheels order. LW's are pretty badass.
Cadens would definitely get me to sub 5kg and I've loved every Caden wheelset I've ridden before though so I'm a little torn at the moment.
I wonder if that last 110-120 grams would just eat at me if I kept it this way
There's some areas I could cut weight without minding much but I guess the most obvious is the tires? I dunno.. As much as I wanna do sub 5kg with the Gipfelsturms I don't wanna compromise too much on the tire department. Veloflex ProTour Race version would cut 20grams. Lighter seatpost collar would cut 8 grams. Definitely need 11-28 cassette. I have a C-59 that would cut 10 grams off of the saddle etc...
I dunno. I guess I'll leave it like this for now as I love how it looks and rides.
Maybe I wait for Tommy to finish sanding the Evo he has and see what frame / fork weight he gets

Interesting what you think about tubular LWs.......
They look badass for sure. Don't ride much better than any other good tubulars I've owned as suspected. My comments were more on aesthetics.
Hopefully they hold up better than Mavic Ultimates?
How do you like the alpitude saddle?

Like it a lot. Mind you I'm not very picky on saddles though. I'm at home on C-59, Antares, Romin Evo, Power and this Alpitude
I'd say Alpitude feels much stiffer than C-59 which I've also ridden for years. I think it's due to much smaller size (mine is the narrowest. it's shorter than C-59 too)
Were one of these frames the soda blasted one by Tommy?
Nah he never got around to finishing that lol. It was right when he injured his elbow.
The lighter one I bought and got shipped at a huge discount from a store in Santa Monica.
The second one is something Tommy found on craigslist in Irvine so I drove there picked it up and came back lol.
