Progress! This is with my training cockpit (enve aero bar and stem). The darimo cockpit weighs 190g.. the bike in the picture weighs 4.69g...
I still need brake cables which are jagwire elite link in gold and the berk saddle/seatpost combo which would be about 120g..
So sub 5kg should be achieved

5.25kg as pictured with uncut seatpost and cables. Switching to the darimo/alpitude cotpit should save 276g at least over the enve... plus I will be using schmolke shifter clamps, removing the bottle cages and cutting the cables... so sub 5 definitely on the cards! Ready to ride is probably around 5.2kg...

the tan sidewalls with gold just look so good. Can't wait to see a sunny shot to show off that gold flake. Should be a very impressive finished product!

I have a load of professional photos done by Simon Eldon of https://www.simoneldon.co.uk/ which I will upload in the next couple of days. This is a pic from the one race I managed last year. Race weight is 5kg with pedals after I swapped the DA axels for Ti axels (anodised gold obviously )
I also have some training wheels (Aforce 33 rims on Tune hubs with CX ray spokes and some 28mm Pirelli tyres) and some spare enve bottle cages which will mean I'll get some more ridding done on it this year. I'll post a training and race build weight pics as well as the professional ones over the weekend.
As for the ride, I have never ridden a bike like this! It goes up a hill like a spanked rabbit!! There is a hill near my house that was used for this race. When I ride it on the saffron which has a 46/33-10-33 AXS set up I am usually always in the little ring at the front and at some points enjoying the 33 at the back! On this I have a 40-11/30 and didn't even need to get into the 30. It just floated up.
The saddle is surprisingly comfortable as well. As I don't trust Corsa speeds for general riding around me I will have to wait until the spring to get out on the Aforce rims for anything longer than trying to take some local hill KOMs. The bike is very stiff and I am glad I made the decisions I did on stiffer spokes at the back and a clutch derailleur. I also went for gold carbon Ti skewers in the end as weight difference to the Tri rig was negligible and they suited the aesthetic so much better.
I didn't bother with bar tape but used some electrical tape to keep the cables in check which worked well. If I want a power meter I will get some garmin ralleys in time but am enjoying riding this on feel (balls out max effort only ).
The position is very comfortable but I spend many hours on my TT bike so can adopt a very aggressive position with out discomfort or lack of power and this is actually more restrained than some of my builds.
All in all I am truly delighted with how this has turned out in regards to weight, ride and looks!!
