Greetings! I hope you are all well…,

Had a bit of a clear out over the last 18 months and decided to sell two of my bikes and ‘downsize’ to just having the one ‘best’ bike and also decided to switch to the dark side of disc brakes.

Placed an order for a Festka Spectre last September and it has just landed!

Build list as follows (mix of some old and some new parts) - I hope to have it built up in the next couple of weeks...:

Frame : Festka Spectre Disc 59s
Fork : Columbus Futura
Headset : Chris King i7
Shifters : Campagnolo H11 EPS
Rear Mech : Campagnolo Record EPS 11 Speed - Ceramic Speed OSPW
Front Mech : Campagnolo Record EPS 11 Speed
Front Mech Clamp : Parlee cycles carbon clamp 34.9mm
Brakes : Campagnolo H11
Wheels : Lightweight Meilenstein T 24D Schwarz ED
Tyres : Challenge Paris-Roubaix Pro - Now updated to Veloflex Ravens - Noticable improvement in ride quality!!
Chainset and Bottom bracket : THM Carbones Clavicula SE 175mm Praxis 39\53
Cassette : Campagnolo Super Record 11 Speed 11-27
Chain : KMC DLC
Bars : AX 4200 Ergo
Stem : THM Tibia
Seatpost : Darimo T2 15mm
Saddle : AX Leaf
Pedals : Look Keo blade
Weight : I am thinking it will come in around the 7Kg mark...

Some teaser pics, I hope you like it and I will look forward to any comments \ questions ….

Cheers,
Lig.

Cheers BB - The frame came in at just under 1200g.. not the lightest, but with EPS and Disc I am not really going for a WW build... I am just hoping it comes out nearer 7kg than 8kg

Yeah the colour really does look good and reacts to different lights.... It is actually only the front half of the frame that is painted, the rear is raw carbon as I just love FESTKAs carbon weave so had to have a bit of both!

Here's a couple of shots with some bits on for a better visual...

Awesome, logo with no paint is my favourite part of this beautiful paintjob.

Beautiful ...... looking forward to the finish build

P.S - I see Press-Fit BB ..... was the T47 threaded BB an option?
If so, was that in your consideration process? ..... Sorry, just curious

Cheers

I know I know... What I mean is that I knew this was never going to be a sub 6k build (what I would class as 'real world useful' WW builds) but yes I want to keep it as light as possible...

Yeah, I too love the 'raw' logos - I wanted a 'low key understated look'. I think because of the green (in certain lights) the raw FESTKA logo looks kind of camo ... which I didn't expect but like..

No. Sadly this was not an option. But I think if properly fitted the BB should be creak free. It is a separate tube they use for the BB shell and is '5 nanomicrons precision' ha ha.... So I am expecting no problems here.. But yeah threaded BB's take some beating!!!

Cheers,
Lig.

Beautiful frame, although I must say that if that's the headset you'll be sticking with, I'd try and black out the Chris King logos at least. I think the understated branding on all your other parts are much better suited to that frame.
