Just finished (for now) this Factor O2 build, hopefully will get THM brakes and chainset one day, but certainly won't be anytime soon.
I could have gone lighter (eg Tufo) on the Tubs but I wanted to keep a reasonable pair in terms of durability, same goes for the rear cassette again plenty lighter out there but wanted to focus on useability. The pedals are Mavic Zxellium Ultimate's but I've reverted back to the sleeve option rather than the internal roller bearings, I'll see how these last, but a really cheap way to save some grams though. The Extralite chainrings I had some concerns over after reading the reports but so far they've been great and shift really well, I have added a chain catcher, just in case though, but at 2 grams its worth it.

Nice build.
I would get a carbonworks bottle cage and EEs.
From personal experience i wouldn't waste your money on Fibula's, yes they look good but EEs are so much better and not much heavier.

Cheers KCookie, good point regarding brakes what are peoples thoughts on the Lekki8 aren't these a tad lighter? I'm guessing the performance of the EE outweighs the small difference?

Yes they are excellent brake calipers. Also they have the color (El Fuego edition) to match your bikePistol2208 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:01 pmCheers KCookie, good point regarding brakes what are peoples thoughts on the Lekki8 aren't these a tad lighter? How does the extralite chainring compare to the stock red 22 ones? Mine is getting a bit worned (also an Etap 22) and trying to decide to stay with Sram or get one of these.

I'm not seeing the issues some others have mentioned about dropped chains etc, but I have got a simple chain catcher just in incase. The shifting isn't quite as smooth as the sram ones, not hugely different though and to be honest i don't change up and down my chain too much in a ride anyway, especially riding a compact, I find the shifting equal to praxisworks Buzz rings, but I find the chainline better when chain is crossed small - small, with the praxis if you were on small front and 3 small cogs on the rear it caught on the pickups.

Is the carbon bridge on your berk custom painted to match the frame?

Very nice, very simple looking. One of the most impressive I’ve seen, definitely. And the color is quite unique, very appealing orange-red.
No Garmin or cyclocomp of any kind? Rarely these days, and I must say I appreciate that more and more. Except I can’t separate myself from my own because I still want to know how many kilometers I’ve “conquered”.
And you gave me good tip with that Cane Creek EE expander/top cover/bolt combo.
Btw. no brake wires on the list?
