Hey guys, it has been a long long time since I last documented a bike build up. Life pretty much took the driver seat for the last 8 years and decided I need to get back on my bike again. I've been a long time fan of retrobike and titanium bikes and have fought long and hard in accepting new bike techs. But with the even faster pace in bike tech, jumping onto the 29er band wagon on mountain bikes and new gear ratios on road bikes, I was pretty much sold.

This post to start my journey here on weightweenie finding simpler pleasures in life.. Enjoy! :beerchug:

Nice. Looking forward to this build. I see some interesting wheels and my favorite saddle.

Thanks man! The Campagnolo Boras have been on my wish list since I was a teenager and the deal was too good to be missed. I've just built up the bike and hope to take it out for a spin this weekend!

I am interested in this as well. Been looking at the R300. Was reading its a bit heavier thank other Ti frames (eg Litespeed)?
