Ordered some new bottle cages : Elite Rocko Carbon. Hope they look nice on the frame. Also thinking of a pair of new wheels to try tubeless on the racer, because tubeless on the Gravelbike is great. Zipp 303S @ 1530 grams or a pair of handbuild Duke 36mm paired with DT240 EXp straightpull and Sapim CX Ray spokes @ 1275 grams for climbing... . Keeping my Zipp 303 Firecrest with NSW hubs ( tubular ) - Zipp 454's are for sale now.
First time tubeless for me. Must say it's nice - alsmost as nice as tubular tires ( same brand, alsmost same width. ) on almost the same wheels. Bottle cages are firm and hold the bottles well.

Litte update, took of the golden decals on both sides. Still the little ones on seatstay and headtube. Also little golden details on the bottle cages. Also placed the new team handlebar 110/40. With the new handlebar the weight is 7.05 Kg with the Zipp 303S wheels. With the Zipp 404 FC - same tires - it will be around the 7.00 Kg mark because I only have the Vittoria liners in the Zipp 303S wheelset.

She looks great, Rene! Is that also the new ICS2 stem?
You could be under 7kg if you swap to a Hylix seatpost. I've got one of them on my BMC and it's working out well. No creaks or sliding of the saddle or post. You'd need to make sure that the 0mm offset will work with your saddle position though.

@iamraymond : this is the one piece handlebar/stem, in team edition.

As for the Hylix seatpost - thinking about ordering one and test it on my BMC URS before putting it on the SLR. The seatpost from Hylix for BMC has a turnable cradle , so -15mm offset or +3mm offset. It should not be difficult to get the same position.

I don't think that the Roadmachine (second generation) and URS seatpost is the same as the first generation Teammachine. The shapes look a bit different. Teammachine (Left), Roadmachine (Right)
Here's the Hylix post that I used and it has a fixed 0mm cradle https://www.ebay.com/itm/353624038039

Bearing cover width is 47mm and top width is 37mm.
I've ordered a pair of nice 30mm climbing ( all do ) wheels at : https://vanspeykwheels.nl . VSW Rims - DT240 Straight pull hubs and Sapim CX Ray spokes with brass nipples. Then it will be around 6.75Kg . And for the Hylix - I will order one I guess and test it out on the URS ( it has the same seatpost ). But bit in doubt because of the 0mm offset. Also on order a pair of Dura Ace Di2 9150 derailleurs, now I'm thinking of a Dura Ace 9100 or Dura Ace 9200 crankset.iamraymond wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 10:33 amShe looks great, Rene! Did some maintence today :
* New crankset - Shimano DA 9200 50-34
* New deraillleurs - Shimano DA 9170
* New Chain : Shimano DA 12 speed
* New golden decals , and another pair ( other colour on order ). Hope they printed the Ai. file okay on good vinyl.
Still looking for an 11-30 DA 9100 cassette - but that's not a problem ( and shifts a bit better than a Sram ). And hope they get a DA Stages on stock somewhere in Eu.

Unlimited colours printed some nice brushed silver decals for the frame. I had the >ai file from BMC and the size is 98% okay. Maybe in the future ( next year ) I will also orde a set of brushed titanium - must also be nice. These decals match colour with the Dura Ace name in the crank. Still waiting for the Stages Dura Ace 9200 - and since the wait was shoot forward to begin November I've got an € 25,- discount for the webshop I oredered the Stages.
Last ride it was the first test for the Dura Ace 9270 calipers on my Ultegra 8070 shiftres. They match well - braking is better with the Dura Ace calipers - extra pad clearance is not noticible for me ( had no disc rub with the Ultegra calipers ) - but the DA9270 look a lot better and modulation is also better for my feel during the first 45K ride.

Hi, I have a question about the Zipp 303S wheelset you've put on the bike. Do you think you can fit 28mm tires or it's better to stay at 25mm? I'm about to buy a frame from bike24 myself but i can't figure out the tyre clearance.
Thank you.
Thank you.
