If you want 160mm cranks with power why not go Rotor? Not the lightest option but lighter than 105.
Take a look at the most recent picture from him

Selle Italia C59 Saddle fitted ๐Ÿ˜Ž

WOW!!! This thing is SO SHARP and very thin! If you touch it, it'll break, if you lean it against a wall it bends-the flex is very similar to an envelope, yes an envelope ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I hope I can actually ride it but weight saving not worth ยฃ300 for the worry it will now cause me
In comparison, bontrager XXX saddle is a tank, solid

Really classy looking bike, well done.
I guess the obvious weight saving is a wheelset swap but as you say, not cheap. Plus if the bikes getting a lot of use you don't want to make it too fragile, always a compromise I guess but its inspirational, the bike is stunning.
Thanks a bunch man! Wheels for sure, but its a grand to save 170g... No chance! As you say, the bike is great and strong to let the legs do the chat.

Nice bit of cling and saves a bunch over the stock emonda expander

So by my calculations, this bike should be 15seconds faster over Alpe D'Huez @300w than my 6.3kg Emonda SL and that is worth it for me.

Thanks for all the info you have al contributed over thousands of threads I looked at.

Just stuck on tubulars, light and punctures or strong and slow? Currently on 275g Sprinters.....

Thanks for all posts & pics. I just ordered the identical frame (in 52cm too!), but it won't arrive until late June.

Did you weigh the frame & fork prior to assembly. I'm wondering how close it came to spec.

A parts breakdown with weights would be very cool.

p.s. I'll be going with a SRAM Red 22 groupset (wit 50/34 chain rings and a 11-30 cassette for climbing), ee Brakes, Yoeleo H1 Integrated handlebar, LightBicycle AR46 wheels (Carbon Ti hubs) & Corsa G+ Speed TLR tires. By my rough calculations that will be around 5.8kg.

I could go with a lighter wheelset but 1354g in my mind is a fair tradeoff for the added aero benefits (e.g. descending in a break, bridging up, etc.).

Very nice built and great weight!
I am wondering if you have tuned the clamp of the seat mast cap?
It is not the clamp from the Emonda Slr 10 as far as I can see.

It looks to be the standard Trek round seat mast.

Fitted a Spada Brevet wheelset weighing 990g

Image

I warrantied the C59 saddle as the rails were 9.5mm and not 9mm. Currently on a 135g RXL saddle and not sure whether I will change it...

I also forgot to update you all, I put a tint of green over the bike!

The green tint is sweet! Was it hard to find a shop that would repaint the frame or did you do it yourself.

And those wheels are super light. What does the bike weigh now?

I did it myself!

Hello. I'm looking to purchase this frame. I saw trek is selling it again this year as a 2022 model. I want rim brake, mechanical in SRAM red or force. Are they still doing bb90 or is this new frame or the one you use the t47? Are they pressfit or threaded? I noticed the seat post isn't included? Is that normal and do I need to get that at trek store only? Thank you.
i love udon.

HAs anyone been able to find a Garmin Mount for the Aeolus one-piece carbon handlebar that comes with the 2021 Emonda SLR7, to combine an Edge on top and a Varia UT800 underneath?
