That expander is pretty heavy. And so is the bar tape.
That's where I'd look to save weight.

vayakora | Eco mouse mats: silk, linen, cotton, ramie, bamboo, etc.

I forgot to mention the expander in this round of updates thank you.

I went from Cervelo Expander @ 44 grams to Cannondale Si Expander @17 grams

What bar tape do you recommend seems like everything in the EVA foam category is 50 grams

Any link to this Berk copy saddle? I'd like to try the shape before I spend on the real thing!

My all time favorite saddle is a Selle SLR Superflow size small. I can spend all day on it with no issues at all. One day ill by the carbon rail version of it. Currently using the Ti316 rail at 190 grams.

Ill only ride the carbon copy cat saddle for road rides under 40 miles, not that it's uncomfortable, it's because I don't trust it holding up on the bumps. But who knows ive been surprised before with cheap Chinese carbon

Well, the Cervelo is long gone.. It served me well; its a great bike, but I was riding it way to much on the road only so I went down a rabbit whole of building a few Road specific bikes: Cervelo S3, R5, Viathon R1, 3T Strada Due, Tarmac Sl7 and finally the Aethos..

Have kept the Aethos and have over 5000 road miles on it and it isn't going anywhere.. I bought a cheap Alloy Statte All Road with Rival AXS for Winter/ Gravel and trainer rides.

The Aspero is great, if I truly had the opportunity to ride 50% gravel I would have kept it, but there isn't any off-road riding where I live so I wanted something dedicated to road that would be lite and minimal proprietary parts.
