Thank you MrC - I think the wheels now deserve slightly better tubulars than the Conti Gatorskin.
Btw - are you a tubular or clincher type?

Small update; I swapped the 100/ 6 mm silver stem for 100/ 12 mm painted. It still have 1 cm spacing; the spacers have also been painted, but I think the silver ones do not look bad.
I am actually quite pleased with the looks.
In terms of comfort, just completed four days of long riding, and don't really mind the slightly reduced handlebar height.
I used the oily cages for the long trip, but may revert to titanium cage + Fabric holder for the keg.

So f*ck!! Came back from a long trip (south England and northern France). Flew back from Paris to Madrid and just realized the frame was damaged during the flight - the distance in the rear axel has gone from the standard 130 mm to 121 mm (measured by mechanic). I realized having a really hard time to get the rear wheel back in.
I ve contacted the airline. But realistically, would love to hear views on what options are possible?

Another question. What kind of tire clearance do you have? Standerts website says 28 mm. Is it possible to fit 30 mm tires meassured?
Hi - a framebuilder could fix it; apparently without heating the tubes. There is a risk of cracking the tubes and will not necessarily have a perfect fix.
The airline, Iberia, handled it very elegantly. Not surprised (I have found them to be very helpful in multiple circumstances), but pleased.
In terms of clearance; the pic above is with 26 mm tubulars (they might be a bit wider). No issues.
The pic on this post was with 25 mm Corsa Elite tubulares; which measure, according to BRR, 25 mm.
The allen key is at the restriction point; it is 6 mm and it would pendulate (i.e. not squeezed in). I remember the 8 mm would not fit it in that same spot. You could squeeze the 8 mm around the front tyre within the fork; which I is Colombus Futura. But it is tight.
So 30 mm should fit, but tight - with 3-4 mm clearance at the most narrow point?
