I just came across an example of a non weight weenie similarly spec'd bike.
It comes in at 7.09kg so over 500g heavier.

Any idea what those bottle cages are?

Looks like Supacaz Carbon Fly in Neon Yellow.
Thanks bro!

Up to 6.59kg with a new Farsports F1S Handlebar.
I tried a new way of routing the cables.

I managed to get the seatpost clamp from the 2022 R5.
It fits perfectly and its a much cleaner design compared to the one that came on the bike. ImageImageImageImage
would you mind sharing the part number? My LBS seems unable to find it .. thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind, got it. The the part number seems to be SPC-0H0R5.

After 3 good years with this bike and 22k miles I'm moving to a Specialized Tarmac SL8.
I'm going to be using all the same components aside from a new lighter handlebar.
I'll be getting the bike back from the shop tomorrow. We'll see if it weighs more or less. (New frame is 782g and uncut fork is 363g)
The R5 is going to be for sale with the Light Bicycle wheels (total weight 6.58kg)
