Cannondale spindle, and SiSL2 cranks in 172.5mm that I had anodized in black for a more stealth look. I was never a fan of the white laser etched logos

Thanks. I think 8 pounds will be complicated to reach unless I put on these paper thin Tufo elite 125g tires, which I might do at some point for fun.

The BB30 standard shell is known for developping creaking issues due to poor bottom bracket manufacturing tolerances from Cannondale, as demonstrated by Hambini. In short, the internal BB diameter can vary significantly so the bearings are likely to be moving inside the BB shell. To minimize that by filling the gaps, I applied some commonly used retaining compound: loctite 648. I combined that with original NTN bearlings size 6806 LLB 30x42x7, known for their high quality and tight tolerances. Not the lightest but smoothness is key in that area. Make sure you are not buying counterfeit ones, so you need to have the QR code Authenti Bear on the box to guarantee its authenticity.

i would not use the track tires even for a short ride as they puncture too easily and cost a fortune (over $125 per tire). the veloflex records are more puncture resistant.RouarierDmer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:43 pmThanks. Very impressive build, especially with paint and 2-by drivetrain

PYC chain, 196g. Good thing when you are running a one by groupset with a 28x28 development, is that you can significantly shorten the chain.

I tried to make heat shrink hoods, which was a fun and light side project.
But the result proved not to be aesthetically pleasing (to say the least) and the hoods were sliding, so in the end went back to the original SRAM hoods
