Despite all the advancement in carbon technologies, I've always wanted to own a Ti bike for its classic look and rarity on the road.
Recently found out about this new Ultimate Disc frameset, and the price is relatively reasonable thanks to the ongoing sale so I took the chance and here it is!
Biggest surprise is the frame weight, Litespeed states 1323g, mine size M is 1268g :twisted:
Total build weight is currently at 7.34kg without pedals, which is very nice especially for a disc brake Ti bike. I reckon I can easily get it down to 6.9kg with lighter wheels (-250g) and tires (-200g).
Enjoy!

Wow, very nice!

Couple of questions:
What bike were you riding before? How does this compare?
Do you think you could fit 32mm tires front and back?

Looking forward to the ride report!!

I had a BMC teammachine SLR01, S-works SL6, and currently riding the new giant TCR.
These carbon bikes are all top of the line race bikes, nothing can beat them easily.
Just had my very first ride with litespeed this morning, first impression is quite positive, it is plenty stiff, power transfer felt good, frame is also very comfy and able to absorb small road imperfections exceptionally well. Although I couldn't beat my PR set by previous carbon race bikes, however the finish time was very close. Overall I really like it so far.

It can definitely take 32 tires front and back, I am currently riding 28c, there are still plenty of spaces left, at least 5mm each side.

Why use the fidlock system instead of a regular cage and bottle. It does look cool.

This is definitely on my list of bikes I would like to try in the future. Nice build and look forward to a long term review.

@Riochang
Thanks for the reply.

Will be interesting to see which bike you end up riding more - your new Giant or your new Litespeed.
