She has taken me from John Ogroats to Lands end solo, done the north costs 500 and been an over kill winter bike for over a decade.. but like triggers broom the only original bit is the frame!

Wish I could build somethng like that for errands. Commuting to work is not an option with a 86 mile, 138.4 km one way ride into work.Yes a large part of my life in in my car.

As I am far to emotionally invested in this frame I dusted it off, had it inspected by Tom Sturdy and then repainted by Blue Whippet paint.. (yes this cost more than the frame did 11 years ago )

I then got the ritchey WCS chicane stem, WCS Carbon Seatpost and WCS aluminium bar (38cm) along with a Columbus futura forks.

Using a mix of parts bin and other bits I have built her up as a 1x crit bike

Frame is a aluminium Tifosi from 2010.

BB is ceramic speed
Wheels are Tune Mig/Mag with Aforce 33 rims and 28mm Pirelli tyres TLR built by Strada wheels

QR are Carbon Ti, Seatpost clamp is KCNC, headset is canecreek

Sram force 1x shifters, Sram force 1x RD with ceramic speed pulleys, Sram Red quarq 50 tooth, 11-36 Sram force cassette, Sram Red brakes KMC SL chain, DA pedals, ritchey WCS Carbon bottle cages, Specialized Power Elaston saddle, supacaz bar tape, jagwire elite link brake and shifter cables

Weight is 8kg ready to ride.. will try on the local circuit (thruxton, Andover) next week and may move to a spare 54 tooth Carbon aerocoach chain ring and a Sram Red 11-32 cassette....
