Finally decided to start own thread here. Was looking for bike for my SO and found nice Synapse for sale nearby. 3 hrs of driving and it's here.
Frame wise, Cannondale Synapse ticks all the boxes:
-Disc brakes with Thru-Axles.
-Clearance for bigger tires. Cannondale says 33c, but it will fit 35c.
-Classy look. Older supersix looks even better, but at least no dropped seatstays.
-No propietary parts. There's 25.4mm seatpost, but that's it.

I'm not chasing lowest weight possible here. Looking for everyday comfort and usability instead.
I'm afraid I won't be able to weight all components, except when I'm replacing parts. Will weight bike parts when removing/installing.

Currently:
Frame: 2018 Cannondale Synapse HM Disc 56cm.
Groupset: Sram Etap HRD.
Crankset: Sram Red 52/38 175mm one piece
Was : Sram Red 53/39 172.5 2-piece (powermeter ready)
Wheels: Cannondale Hollowgram Knot 45 SL
Was : Fulcrum Racing 900 DB (Stock wheels from 2020 Cannondale SuperSix)
Tires: Vittoria Corsa Control 2.0 TLE 30c
Was : Vittoria Zafiro Pro Slick 25c.
Cassette: Sram Force 11-28
Rotors: Sram Centerline 160/160.
Seatpost: Cannondale Save 25.4mm
Was : Cannondale C2 25.4mm
Stem: Zipp Service Course SL 130mm.
Was : Zipp Service Course SL 130mm.
Handlebars: Zipp SL-70 Ergo Carbon 42mm
Was : Zipp Service Course 44cm
Saddle: Fizik Antares

When I was looking for Synapse Disc builds, I found same frame with almost the same components: Synapse Disc from bespoke cycles. Using that as my inspiration.

It would be good to see the current weight of the new to you bike. Looks like a nice clean ride.

I don't have prescise scales yet, but that will do that for sure.

Received Hollowgram Knot 45 SL wheels, takeoff from new bike. Waiting for other packages to arrive.

Oh i just did a search on instagram and you are right. i am flattered.
YES ! A custom paint. ( Midnight blue / luna blue ). It was a 2018 factory black / white colorway.

Didn't had much choices on the seat post. Enve has 25.4 diameter but only comes with setback. End up with a Zipp Service Course SL Seatpost Zero setback.

The Synapse with taller stack is very forgiving on my lower back and same time allows me to " slam ".
Very fun bike.

An updated pic with gumwall rubbers.

Very nice !
full Enve finishing kits ? ( seatpost / stem / bar )
An Enve 4.5 AR will be perfect.

And Cannondale always look better in those spiderings

Great looking bike! It’s a pretty decent weight too considering there’s no crazy lightweight parts.

I went with stock Hollowgram Knot 45 SL. Close enough to Enve 4.5AR(45mm deep, 32mm wide) at way more competitive price.

I'm surprised with that weight too. Would be happy to get under 7.0kg.

Well, there's stock Save seatpost with -15mm setback. If you're not ok with -25mm on enve.

P.S. Tire option is #1 question right now for me. I have decided on most of the parts now: Zipp Service Course stem, Cannondale Escape bars and Save seatpost. Debating betweel Schwalbe pro one 28c, newer pro one 30c or GP5kTL

Second upgrades came in.

Stem:
Zipp Service Cource SL 130mm White => Zipp Service Cource SL 110mm Beyond Black
150g => 136gm.
20191114_094949.jpg
20191114_103852.jpg
Handlebars:
Zipp Service Course SL70 44(46?)cm => Easton EC70 SL 44cm.
298g => 212gm.
20191114_095315.jpg
20191114_103919.jpg
I might swap it for 42cm bar, and 100mm stem, but I had this bar laying around, so I decided to replace Alu Zipp that came with bike.

Checked weight of hollowgram wheelset:
20191114_104625.jpg
20191114_104651.jpg
20191114_105042.jpg
Weight with reflectors and protective caps. Without it it came as 752 and 882gm, or 1634gm total, with rim tape. Cannondale website says 1640gm per set, pretty accurate.
