Encouraging for my aim to eventually build one under 6.8kg.
Pretty easy with speedplay pedals, lighter saddle and bike ribbon, forget the powermeter to and you won’t be far of 6,8kg
And dura ace di2 instead of ultegra di2
My plan would be with DA Di2 indeed, XTR rotors, Hollowgram SISL2 with SpideRing SL, different bar+stem, wheels (not sure what yet, DT's PRC 1100 25Y maybe?), tubeless tires (either new Schwalbes or new Michelins that will be out early 2020)... but I'd stick with DA 9100 pedals, I used Speedplays for years, way too much maintenance for me.
Dt prc 1100 25Y will be hard to find because of very limited quantity available but it’s a very good choice. I usualy use pro one tubeless and I like it. For the bar+stem the choice can be hard because of thé spécial head tube if your stem is high

Yeah, there might be many DT 25Y left by the time I start that build. What rims are you using?

I would be pretty much slammed on a 54 with a -6° stem so hoses wouldn't be too apparent. I actually like the look of the KNØT cockpit but, not sure I can stomach that much weight... I looked into the Black Inc cockpit, pretty much the most interesting integrated bar-stem as it's one of the lightest and one of the very few available in my prefered size.

Yeah, but only problem with the Black Inc is that it doesn't run the cables into the stem for cleanest routing with the new "cables in/in front of the head tube" bikes

Did you end up building with the Spiderring SL and SISL2 cranks? I have a 2020 SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod Di2 and am looking to shave some weight. First thought was to ditch the Vision FSA rings for the spiderring and substitute a 4iiii precision power meter instead of the Power2Max it comes with.

Any other low hanging fruit to alter off of the stock build?

Why no way?

Weight sounds about right. Mine is 7.4 with 100g heavier deep wheels, low mod frame, and heavier cranks. Same groupset

Me? I still haven't pulled the trigger on a 2020 Evo... My plan was to get the Hi-Mod DA Di2 as it's the closest to what I would build it with, then swap a few things... but my favorite LBS I've been going to since the mid-90's, for whom I raced at one point, and thus had very good prices, has shut down and that's a very expensive bike, right now I would probably need to sell a bike or two... (I accept donations ) but I'm also juggling with the idea to wait another season and buy once there is a model with the next generation DA Di2... but the brownish Sienna colorway frameset is also tempting... Hmmmm.

I would skip a powermeter personally, I have one now, never look at it anymore, it's basically only used to link to Zwift for me nowadays...

Hi,

just wonder, what is your saddle height (center of bb to the top of your saddle) because although Supersix has quite a high stack and you have some spacers under the stem it seems you have bars quite below your saddle..

Just wonder if one can rely on quoted stacks of frames..

Great looking bike! Would you be able to post some more pictures of the cockpit from above and below. I want to build a bike very similar but am having a a difficult time deciding on the bar/stem combo or intergrations. I would like to keep with the aero theme of the bike and have all the hoses and di2 to be internal but I'm not a big fan of the weight of the KNOT stuff. The Black Inc. looks like the one of the best when it comes to weight. Other option would be Zipp SL aero but it appears the hose wire really stick out on it. For integration it seems Black Inc. or Farsports and there aren't many good pictures of the set ups. Thanks!

Hi all, first time poster but have been using the forum for several years.
I have a 2018 Cannondale Synapse Ultegra disc (not the high-mod version unfortunately) which I’ve got down to 7.6kgs with pedals and bottle cages after I changed to SISL2 crankset, lighter saddle, 3T carbon bar, handbuilt DCR carbon wheelset, tubeless tyres, lighter cassette.

raph37, your bike looks great and I was thinking of trying to achieve similar weight with the same frame.

I’m thinking of buying a 2020 Supersix Evo High Mod team replica but wanted to check if it was feasible to get it down to 7kg (or near it) including pedals and bottle cages with the following changes?

-100g C2 bar and stem (420g) replaced with Farsports integrated bar (320g)
-100g Hollowgram SI cankset replaced with SISL2 (sisl2 crankarms and 10-ring spidering)
-120g Prologo Nago Stn saddle (270g) replaced with Selle Italia Kit Carbonio Superflow (150g)
-110g Ultegra 11-32 cassette (282g) and ultegra chain replaced with sram red 11-32 cassette (196g) and sram red chain
-200g Vittoria Rubino Pro tyres + tubes replaced with Schwalbe Pro 1 (2020) and sealant
-45g 160mm RT54 rotors (282g) replaced with 160mm RT900 rotors (236g)
-25g bar tape changed to lizard skin (2.5mm)

Total estimated saving 700g
My pedals (ultegra) and bottle cages (2 x cannondale carbon cages) come to 300g

I don’t know the starting weight of the Ultegra High Mod team replica without pedals.
This bike comes with C2 bar and stem, hollowgram si crankset and Knot 35mm wheelset that supplier told me comes in at 1480g which is more or less the same weight as my own DCR wheelset so I'll probably sell the wheels that come with the bike.
If anyone has the starting weight of that bike, it might help me estimate what my estimated final weight might come in at ith the above changes.

Does anyone know what saving would I get if any with upgrade from Ultegra to Ultegra Di2 shifters, FD, RD, calipers, cables?
I see from comparison websites that saving is around 115g but not sure if that’s accurate.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't remember the weight to the exact gram but my Team Replica in stock configuration weighted 7,6kg without pedals.

The stock wheelset is more to the 1600g than those 1480g your DCR wheels.

Thanks hofs.
It looks reasonable that I can get High Mod team build down to around 7.1/7.2kg incl pedals and cages with the changes I have in mind.
For the same money as a new High Mod Ultegra Supersix Evo 2020, I have found a new High Mod synapse 2018 team with dura ace di2 which is around 6.8kg without pedals which I could get to 7kg with minor changes so I've some thinking to do.

Shouldn't be too hard to get a 6.8kg bike to 7.0kg, I think you've got this one
