The Pinarello build came out really well... so far so good. Decided to keep it OG to the Italian roots, with new 12Spd Campagnolo Super Record mechanical Groupo, Shamal Ultra wheels, Most Aero Carbon stem, and Enve Carbon bar, Selle Italia SLR Carbon saddle (Most edition), and Look Keo 2 Max Carbon pedals. The most purist Italian bike experience I could ever hope for. Special thanks goes out to the gentlemen at the best bike store I've ever been to in Canada (and the world for that matter), The 11 Inc. (Toronto). Superb service, build and the best bike fit I've ever had. Gorgeous shop too. Check them out on social media!

Although Heavier than I expected and planned. Was supposed to come in under 15 pounds, however with pedals and complete, came in at 15.12 pounds. Not sure how to drop it much more than this...

Thank you!

What do you suggest? I plan to purchase a new carbon aero wheelset... but need it to support my 6ft 220 pound frame. lol.

Also, bar tape is so comfortable and sweet looking... what others should I consider?

I really like the colors. Solid choice to go white instead of black or blue on the tape and saddle.

Hey, couple of questions...

Do you have a target weight or budget?

Are you bothered about mixing and matching components?

You could loose 70g from the stem
Wren stem 120mm for US$60

J and L skewers
36g for US$20
https://www.ebay.com/itm/J-L-Ti-Titaniu ... 1676885395

Inners tubes lightweight 50ish grams
Continental Supersonic, Max is flyweight, Bontrager xxx

Almost obligatory Berk Lupina saddle
https://www.berk-composites.com/product ... na-padded/
Bit more pricey @ €230

Some cheapish changes that won’t alter the overall look of your bike, apart from the wheels

Thank you for the excellent suggestions.

I'd prefer to keep the Most Aero carbon stem because it works and fits perfectly with the frame. The bars work so well too.

That's a nice saddle too, except I would like to stick with something White leather. Going to try to find an all white Fizik if possible. They're heavier but so comfortable. I think this bike deserves a white saddle.

I think I'd ideally like to shed 350 to 400 grams. Ideally happiest with anything under 15 pounds, however the bike works so well as is, and looks the part IMO.

I'm going to try some of your suggestions on my MTB, Scott Spark 27.5... Hopefully the stem is not too flexy.

I think wheels, skewers, and tubes is the best gram/pound savings for now. Maybe even pedals?

Yes, a 53cm in Pinarello fits like a large 54cm. Or so I've been told. So far so good to me.

I'm 6 ft and an on a 54 F8 but a 53 might fit me better, tho I like a bit smaller frame with a longer stem.
