My OPEN Up (AKA The Dirty Apple)
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Hey guys!
I wanted to introduce myself, I've lurked around the board for ages, since the days of Berk's 1st ever carbon fiber projects, (yeah that long). And I guess I finally feel like I have something worth posting up. Not the best pic of her enow, But ill be sure to post up new ones in the next couple of days.
This bike too me is the holy grail of bikes, in my opinion, and has served me well in all the ways I've asked of it. In the days of big tires I can say running 40's on the tarmac, never felt so good! And stiffness yet comfort that comes from this bike, is one too none. I love this bike more than anything I've ever ridden before. And I'm a mechanic in NYC, who gets to ride ALOT of bikes. Without further a due let me introduce The The Dirty apple My OPEN UP

This is awesome. Have you seen the Rides Of Japan YouTube channel? He does some cool work on his UP, but I don't think he has as good an overall build as you've got here.
Do you exclusively run the Re-Fuse 40's or do you swap them based on the ride?

Yeah i watch him? hes pretty awesome with the vids he makes. And yes the refuse are my go too tires, i ride mostly tarmac, so its suits my needs better, I have an OPEN WIDE as well for the knobby tires.
