Personally, I prefer it with then HED wheels, it’s a stunning frame that I think suits a shallow section wheel.

I like the look of the Hed wheels as well and they actually roll very nicely! On race day the C50s will get the nod. I haven’t actually had the c50s out on the road under the Baum yet, but on my Cervelo they performed quite well for a “fast day” wheel.

She got a bit of abuse today, high speed descending in the pouring rain, :-(. After some soap n water she cleaned up like new.

I had my first race on the Baum today, I would say it was not faster or slower than my Cervelo. It definitely is a well behaved quiet bike that feels very solid especially at higher speeds. It is more comfortable than the Cervelo, but only by a small margin. I would rate the construction quality of the bike as high as any bike I have seen in flesh, and the paint is spectacular. Purchasing from a small craftsman boutique dealer has been really fantastic, the lads at Baum truely love the details and at the end of the day it’s the details that can make a big difference in the overall relationship between you and your bike.

Good to hear! Baum has always interested me in the past and still does today. You can see their attention to detail and finished product is first class. It’s nice that the smaller/boutique brands still exist and make a top product!
