So I've done my calc and going towards 6800gr is doable but the cost faaaar outways the fun/mile to be had on other bikes so I've landed in 7700gr as a starting point at least. I just want to ride the thing.

I'm 26 euro over my budget which isn't at all bad.

R8000 group. It' still going to look rad.

Trying out the Panaracer Race C Evo3 for tyres but I'm not sure if the bike can handle 26mm wide ones. :noidea:

i know its too late, but i would go 10 speed record on that puppy, you still get it down to 6.5 with some nice gear. great looking frame i would nearly say, only thing wrong with it is that its not my size ! (-:

Dang I had that same frame but in my size. Sold it 10 years ago. Never should have done that.

Gotta love how that seller puts the frame on pieces on wood in one pic, then lays it right on its side on a asphault/gravel parking lot in the next pic. Ouch.

So progress on this has slowed down a bit as I need to get my Audax/Commuter up to snuff.

Trying to find a fitting 34.9 front mech clamp that doesn't cost 45euros. Any ideas?

JRC Components does a carbon one for a good price which weighs 11g or something, just don't tighten it too hard
