Hi guys!

I've been lurking here for quite some time now, and it was about time I posted something along the lines of a project.
I own several very nice bikes already; but really wanted to do a WW-project that still didnt compromise some of my main "standards"
These things for me included; Normal clincher tires instead of the very very lightweight ones, Not a full carbon saddle but the Power saddle that finally helped me get rid of a sore butt, SRAM eTap, a powermeter and in general a bike I could ride everyday.

The buildlist consist of the following parts:
Frame: Lightweight Urgestalt Disc in size 58 - will strip paint and getit repainted in custom colour (ordered - not weighed yet)
Fork: Lightweight Urgestalt (ordered - not weighed yet)
Headset: Lightweight Urgestalt with Schmolke Expander (ordered - not weighed yet - Schmolke to be ordered)
Seatpost: Darimo T1 (ordered - not weighed yet)
Stem: Darimo IX2 (ordered - not weighed yet)
Handlebar: Darimo Ellipse (ordered - not weighed yet)
Wheelset: Extralite CyberDisc (ordered - not weighed yet)
Tyres: Continental GP5000 23mm, picked the lightest at LBS (weighed in at 396g)
Tubes: Tubolito S Road (weighed in at 45g)
Discs: Ashima Ai2Eon 160mm (weighed in at 150g)
DB bolts: Ashima alloy (to be ordered)
Shifters-Calipers-Lines: SRAM Red eTap (weighed in at 762g uncut and excl mounting bolts)
Front Derailleur: SRAM Red eTap (weighed in at 163g)
Rear Derailleur: SRAM REd eTap (weighed in at 240g)
Crankset: SRAM Red BB30 with Quarq (weighed in at 534g)
Chainrings: Rotor Q Rings 50-34 / Carbon 50t (weighed in at 159g for both)
Chainring Bolts: Rotor (weighed in at 10g)
Pedals: Shimano Dura Ace R9100 (weighed in at 234g)
Chain: PYC SP11 (weighed in at 230g uncut)
Cassette: Rotor Uno 11-28 (weighed in at 140g with lockring)
Bottle Cages: CarbonWorks (ordered - not weighed yet)
Garmin Mount: CarbonWorks (to be ordered)
Bar Tape: Lizard Skins DSP 1.8 (weighed in at 51g uncut)
Saddle: Specialized S Sworks Power Arc 155mm (weighed in at 150g)
Bottom Bracket: C Bear Ceramic (to be ordered)

With measured weights and claimed weights combined I should be able to maybe even break 6.0 kg for the complete bike incl pedals, bottle cages and garmin mount. We'll have to see what the definitive weight will be, as I will have to order the frame somewhere in the next few weeks! I'll show the chosen colour too then!

WW disc builds are welcome, but those Lightweight component weights are honestly not very lightweight. Waiting for pictures!

I understand going all matchy matchy with LW finishing kit but that's some heavy expensive stuff, the seatpost in particular. Will definitely be a pretty build though =)

stem 114 gr., (ok, dont know the length), seatpost 188 gr., handlebar 174 gr. ......heavy? its no extreme ww-products, but heavy?
maybe you noticed that dave builds a solid bike for daily use!

and the price...bike market is full of overpriced products (some are very popular on this board) , for shure although lw products are too expensive...but is this really subject here, i thought its a simple build thread!

to calm down the price-sensitive members: lw has a summer sale atm. ;-)

looking forward to some pictures, i although got an urgestalt frame (no, we dont have to discuss its price, far from paying the list price ;.) ) and am curious about other builds.

Hi guys,

I have 25 mm on all my other bikes, so I thought to pick 23 mm on this build as I have ridden for years and years on 23 and never had something to complain about. The choice for the (not so) Lightweight parts was purely for aestethic match although if I didnt buy them in the Summer Sale, I would have gone for MCFK. That would have saved another 104 grams.
I did make one change though, I snapped up a Specialized S Works Power crankset, dual sided for a good price, which will save me another 100 grams over the Quarq so that compensates for the choice of Lightweight parts.

I'll also open a thread on my other bikes. Theyre not WeightWeenies however as theyre all pretty, aero and shiny bikes.
The stable includes:
2019 Specialized Venge, 2019 Specialized Tarmac, 2020 Specialized Roubaix (on order), 2019 Cervelo S5, 2018 Cervelo P5X, 2019 Cervelo P5, 2020 Cervelo Aspero (on order), 2019 3T Strada Team, 2017 Pinarello Dogma F8, 2018 Wilier Cento10 Air Ramato and a 2018 Colnago C60. My 2015 Cannondale Scalpel and 2017 Cannondale SuperSix Evo HM are for sale now as I need to free up some space in the garage for the two bikes on order and this build :P

hmmm, somehow, cant exactly explain, why, i get the diffuse feeling that money might not be the very first subject, if you build a bike.

Slight change of plans;

I decided to sell the Lightweight wheels and Lightweight components and go "proper light".

Went for Extralite Cyberdisc wheels and Darimo seatpost, handlebar and stem. All has been ordered and the wait is a few weeks. Decided to go for the UD option in gloss finish with black logos for the Darimo stuff.
Frame should be on the way too pretty soon. I'll probably go for a combination of Lamborghini/Audi grey with nude carbon in terms of paint.
