Until imaking can average 35mph in a TT like the legendary CAR he should be respectful and thankful that his thread is blessed with such a photo!

Yea... basically. hahaha.. fair enough. Was just trying to make the point that regions have different rules for what is acceptable in "Eddy". The very first TT I did, I was told by someone that I'd have to race in the full TT class because I was on a Venge and it was aero. At that point in time, the rules and class deifniteions weren't clearly explained anywhere. As I lined up in the TT field, I watched so many of the Eddy class riders finishing on Foils and other aero bikes with 50-60mm wheels.
Long story short, anyone that is loking to race should check the rules of their local organizations or race promotors because everyone has a different take on what constitutes Eddy.

Great development, nice to see you could bring weight down even further.
I was also deciding between Venge and Tarmac and after 5000 km on the Tarmac it was the right choice.

I must have overlooked it (sorry)...which wheels are pictured here? Diff from 'new wheel day' post from Feb. Great looking bike!Imaking20 wrote:Well, the Mac is back. I needed to try harder than I wanted to-to convince myself to love the Venge. I built the Tarmac back up about a week ago and my love has been renewed. Enough to finally really commit to it and trim the steerer!
You may also notice that I brought the cable kit with me from the Venge. Pretty pleased with how it tidied things up.
I've also been pondering a setup for a local TT series (assuming the world goes back to normal one day). I really enjoy time trials - even only ever having done them on road bikes. The local series has a number of guidelines to fit in for the "Eddy" category which seemed like a fun excuse to figure out a dedicated setup for the Tarmac. So I did.
Changes include:
-Swapping to my custom Berk Lupina
-25mm Corsa Speed 2.0
-Swapping the 11/28 1190 cassette for an 11/25 I had
-MT900 rotors from the RT99
-Fabric "cage" (So that I can ditch the bottle during the TT. I actually used these exclusively for about 2 years and they work great)
Which brings us down to 6077g... I know, disc bikes are heavy. My bad.
