I just read the complete topic. Very nice build, you have changed a lot of components in the last couple of months and made a lot of progress weight wise.
Did you strip the frame from it's components before taking the paint off?

When I started the paint removal process I knew it was a big job and that it was going to take me many hours to complete. At the time I only had this one single bike and I rode it daily. When I worked up the nerve to take the knife's edge to the paint and began stripping it I intended to ride it while I was stripping it. But I think I managed to complete the 20 hr job in about 2-3 days, so I never rode it before it was completely stripped.

Nice. I have a naked s3 I'm about to clear coat. What did you use to protect the raw carbon?

I use "303 Aerospace Protectant" that was recommended in another forum thread. It is a UV-protectant for the nude carbon. You can use it instead of clearcoat and save a tonne of weight.

Do the fibres absorb the liquid or just sit on top like sunscreen ?

An added benefit is that sweat and dirt doesn't stick to the frame so I never have to clean my bike. :p

I think I'll use the 2k clear this time but if I mess things up I'll go for some 303.

Thank you! - I really love the frame and I knew I would never sell it, so any damage to the resell value I've done has never bothered me. I've removed a tonne of weight and the bare carbon with the UV-protectant is a very nice finish.
I have done similar things to my car to ruin the resell value, but I like that it's uniquely mine. This added weight though. :p
New stem to match the handlebar and seatpost.

The crankset is for the trainer so a nicer one will go in for next seasons outdoor riding.
