Super clean build. That emerald found on the Sigma link is pretty special too

Very very very nice!!!
Love the color.
Still a big margin to drop weight to sub6 without big cost (seatpost, stem, shifting/braking cables, etc.).

I’m not a huge fan of extreme weight savings. Seatpost is proprietary, the stem is 100g + ti bolts. Probably a lighter crankset and tubs would do the trick. But being a semi-aero frameset, I’m pretty happy with the weight

That’s a disc only color so you have to do it yourself! Only rimbrakes for this guy over here on the road.

Nice one!
A bit heavy for Cervelo for this size, I think.
No other hardware except RD hanger (front one removable?)? My bare 2012 58 vwd was 824g.
But who cares about the weight these days...
Enjoy your ride.

My navy 51cm R5 frame (with hardware) is 788g.

I like it. I assume the handlebars are aero, as in foil shaped?

Good looking bike. Didn’t know cervelo made limited ed colors. Did you weigh the bare frame?
Sometimes they do, this year they have an Emerald disc R5 too: https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Cervel ... meset/M7FI

Yes, I weighed the frameset. It's not that bad for a semi-aero frameset.

Frame with cage bolts, RD+FD hanger: 843g
Fork: 301g (332g uncut)
Seatpost: 195g
Seatpost clamps: 27g (22g + 5g)
Other small parts (gromets): 9g
========
I am doing a similar build: picked up frame yesterday

Frame (51cm) with cage bolts, RD+FD Hangar: 786g
Fork, with Starnut and insert: 313g
Seatpost: 195g

My Build will have the following components

Schmolke TLO45 Wheelset
Schmolke TLO 40 cm Bars
Schmolke TLO saddle
9070 Dura Ace Di2 groupset (without brakes)
Ciamillo Brakes or EE Cycleworks Brakes
Vitoria Corse Speed 25mm tires

Hoping to come in aroun 5.8kg
