After seeing the tyres you've just bought I have to get some to. It will bring my build down into the 4.6kg range, along with a Darimo stem.
Their weight is impressive considering they spec at 200g. I never seem to get tyres under weight. I hope mine are close to those weights.
Where did you buy them from please.
Only a few stores seem to have the all black, to nervous to get the tan side wall just incase I dont like them once on the bike.
Great thread and awesome bike.

Believe it or not, I got them off Amazon last month for $56 a piece. I don't see them available any longer.KCookie wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 9:11 amAfter seeing the tyres you've just bought I have to get some to. It will bring my build down into the 4.6kg range, along with a Darimo stem.

Wow that's cheap. Nothing here in Australia in all black 23mm, but UK has a pair for au$280. Not cheap at all.jmh wrote:Believe it or not, I got them off Amazon last month for $56 a piece. New wheels arrived yesterday.
Farsports FSC25TM-23SL. Hubs are Extralite cyber hubs. Sapim CX rays spokes. 915.4 grams for the pair.
The wheels came in exactly what I hoped that they would be based up maddie's thread (and that thread was what made me pull the trigger on purchase). Shipping was much quicker than expected, less than a week from order to delivery to the US.
I hope to glue them up this weekend. I've got the new build at under 4900 grams (under 10.8 lbs) with a SWAG the tubular glue. I'll post final weights etc when all done.

Didn't have time today to glue up the tubulars... but mounted them to rim and this is where I'm right now.
I think it is safe to add 20 grams for glue.
I did have to swap the front bolt on the Darimo Seatpost for one 5mm longer and 0.5 grams heavier to get my saddle as I wanted.
